The Death Of PES16?

If you've been reading much about Konami recently you'll know that Hideo Kojima and them have fallen out big time, with Kojima set to leave the company after MGSV is released. Now as PES uses Kojimas Fox Engine this could mean a lot of trouble for PES16. Especially after reading this about the upcoming, most likely now cancelled, Silent Hill game...

"Hideo Kojima did not allow Konami to use the Fox Engine to make the game"

So we were "forced" to live with a not-even-half-finished PES2014, based on a reasonable graphics engine (there's much better) that themselves said "it's not the best for this kind of games", for nothing?? When PES2015 was definitely a step ahead of FIFA15, the game had it's flaws but 75% of them had nothing to do with the said graphics engine (which, once more, doesn't get along well with this kind of games), they will flush it all down the toilet?

From the article it seems the FOX Engine will no longer be used by Konami after MGSV. Only the future will tell if this goes forward, and if yes, how bad things will get.

That's Havok who's make the game mechanics/physics, not the Fox Engine.

The whole engine (graphics + physics) is called "fluidity" (if i remember well) supervised by Kojima and inspired by the Fox Engine, only for graphics. We can't say that it's his proper engine which is totally used in the PES case.

Silent Hills use the "full" Fox Engine btw, it's a different case...

PES 2015 uses a modified version of the Fox Engine for both graphics and physics.

The Fox engine was actually designed for MSG. Lazy arse Konami did not care enough to create a new engine for PES. That has been the main reason for them falling from grace. They invested more into MSG.

Half arse engine cannot handle the scope of requirements for PES...so the problems continue.

This maybe a good thing ...in the end.
