Hi everyone.

I played PES until about PES 2008 and then switched to FIFA. Up until then PES was so great and FIFA was just so bad at the time. However FIFA 09-14 I actually thought was better then the PES counterparts. Especially with the introduction of Ultimate Team.

I tried the PES 2015 demo and loved it. I don't like FIFA 15 very much. Even though I'm actually good at it I just don't like it. It's very pace oriented and it just doesn't feel like football to me. It can be fun but I wouldn't call it a football simulation. There is just so much going on that never would happen in a football game and people just don't play like that IRL.

PES 2015 is fantastic! PES is back!

HOWEVER the full game, and the support at KONAMI is so damn broken!

Issue no.1: I haven't received my pre-order bonus and have a case pending with the KONAMI support. Who also has a lot to learn from EA:s support. It's just so much more accessible. You can get help whenever, 24/7. There's always someone you can contact via the support chat or on the phone on top of the old ways, like e-mail and so on. KONAMI only works on business days and takes about 1-2 days to reply. It's just not good enough!


Issue no.2: The game constantly crashes. I play it on PS4 so I can't do a lot about it like on a PC it might be something on your computer settings or hardware or whatever but on a console it pretty much is always the game. It gets stuck when it's trying to connect to the PES servers and after a while the screen goes black with only the little "Establishing connections" in the bottom left corner left on the screen.


Issue no.3: This might not be what you would call an issue however it just annoys the hell ot of me. And that is some of the animations.
For example the animation of the net when you score a goal. It's so ugly and kind of looks like it's from a soccer game from the 90's. The goal animation of the net bulging and the whole net just bouncing a little bit on FIFA 15 is so nice.
Another are the menus. Just not very good looking. The menus in myClub are the worst. The menus in the Top Menu when you start the game are not as bad. But the menus in myClub just looks like something from the 90's and something that a little kid made. Uhghhh! :no:


Appart from issues above, and then primarily the first and second one, I really like the game. But the first two issues just kind of breaks the game for me and it's such a shame since the game could have been really, really great.

i was sort of shocked how bad the menu aesthetics are. I have it on ps3 and it looks ps2 tops. Love the game play however but quickly miss the FIFA presentation

Issue 3 sounds like whining to me. It looks fine. Issue 1 falls on the unfortunate side for you. Issue 2 falls on Konami's side.

Servers has been acting funny since yesterday's emergancy maintenance, perhaps they flipped a couple settings to make it behave funny. Otherwise I've had a flawless experience with PES on both PS4 and PC so far.

One thing I don't really like is the menu, it's obviously trying to copy FIFA's, PES 13 had a great menu and it was straight up simple, why couldn't they stick to that.

What I really ment there was that the gameplay is so good. I get the feelings I got when playing PES 4 and 5 and 6. It's just so much better then FIFA 15.

However all those little things besides the actual gameplay, like the game crashing and me having a technical issue and getting very little to no support at all just destroys a lot. And it's just such a big shame.

They nailed the gameplay and If they just fixed a couple of things like, their support, the menus, the commentary and some of the in game animations it would have been a FIFA-killer. But now it's a tight battle.

Also I feel that the game IS broken. It just doesn't feel complete. I think a lot of people have issues with the game and the servers. You know, EA releasing half-finished games is something we got used to but PES used to be known for not being glitchy and having annoying issues and now I feel that it is.

What I would really like is if you could take everything from FIFA, the menus, the entrance scenes, the BPL pre-game animations and so on. And then when the game starts it would switch to PES. That would be the ultimate game!

I checked everything. I've been playing myClub since the release so I have had time to check out everything there is in myClub. I've probably signed about 10-15 players with Top Agents so far. But I just don't have the special agents in my Top Agents list and there is nothing i my inbox so I could redeem the agent. I simply haven't got the pre-order bonus for some reason. There is a thread on this forum about this issue. I'm not the only one with this problem.

Issue 3 - I was playing with my brother last night who's a FIFA player and he was moaning about the nets i did notice it doesn't bulge much when you score but doesn't bother me and defiantly not a game breaker.

I love the game i bought FIFA when it came out and over the past few weeks not played it. Every game just feels the same when you play FUT its always against the same sort of teams just full of skillful fast players its going on ebay this week won't play it again. PES is back

its a perfectly valid point, specially when before net movement was good.. its not a deal breaker however some details are more important than others (intros, music and shoes dont mean a shit eg..)

Agree the net bulge is incredibly unrealistic. At least it's not Fifa 15 where the net lifts up for even a pea roller shot!

I'm really enjoying Master league right now, but kind of wish more people played full manual so I could play online

You have this oddly backwards, kind of like your contrary "game is broken but best PES ever" comments. PES has been releasing half-finished, beta-type glitchy messes for a decade now. Whereas FIFA has been the complete game year after year. This year, FIFA 15 PC for the first time has some serious bugs in it, has to do with switching over to the Ignite engine I suppose.

? where's the add songs options that was soo good. Stadium creator ? is a joke. If you not going to give a full game atleast give use fully control on the things to edit from stadiums, club, images, and so on. comon add that now in next update and not next year. You want your customers now, game is really good add all this & you will start turning heads.

Well I haven't been playing PES since PES 2008, other then trying out the demo every year, so you might be right about PES. But EA has not been close to the complete game on release in like...ever.

FIFA 13 was so bugged that it was unplayable until the first patch. The finesse-shots were so overpowered until they fixed it. You could easily score from 35-40 yards out. Just hold R1/RB and shoot. And even after the patch about half of the corners were goals. It was a saying in the FIFA community during the time that a corner was equal to a penalty. You actually had high ranked players who's main tactic was to take long shots to make the keeper tip it out for a corner and then score from corners.

Ultimate Team in FIFA 12 was taken offline for about a week a few days after release because it had so many issues, among one of them was people being disconnected in 90% of the matches.

FIFA 14 was also glitchy until the second patch was released. I.e. at first it had very unbalanced offensive headers. They tweaked it a bit after the second patch but headers were still very overpowered in FIFA 14. Before the second patch, all you had to do was run down the wing and cross it and it was a goal EVERY SINGLE TIME. They sortof fixed it in FIFA 15 but went overboard. In FIFA 15 you can never score a header. Unless you are completely alone inside the box standing in the 5 yard area. Then the headers go in. Otherwise you always either loose the header, doesn't matter if you have i.e. Llorente going up against some 5'6 defender the defender always wins. Or your player heads the ball 10 yards wide even if he heads it from the penalty spot. The only time you can score a header, when not alone in the box, is when the cross comes from inside of the box. Then the defenders turn from overpowered in the air beasts into retarded "can't head the ball if my life depended on it" dwarfs and somehow your player always magically makes the run and jumps infront of the defender to steal the ball and head it in to the net. But it has to go near post. Otherwise it goes wide.
This has made wingers so obsolete. Noone plays with wingers, noone crosses at all in FIFA 15. It's just sweaty pace-abusing, running straight through the middle plays ALL THE TIME. And formations like the 4-3-3 are close to useless. Everybody either plays 4-3-1-2 or 4-1-2-1-2 which are both very narrow formations with no wingers at all.

FIFA 15 has so many glitches (you can check some of them out on youtube). Some of the more funny glitches in FIFA 15 are that sometimes the managers or the cameramen come on to the pitch in the middle of a game and just walk around on the pitch :laugh: And the most annoying one is the well known "Kick-off-glitch". You can just run through the whole defense if you do it right after kick-off. On FIFA 14 there was also a kick-off-glitch but then instead of running you would make the forward that's kicking of make a run towards the goal by pressing L1/LB when you kick-off, then pass it all the way back to a defender and then kick a long over the top through ball. It was annoying at the time but not nearly as high percentage as the kick-off-glitch in FIFA 15. It's not unusual that 3-4 goals scored in a match comes from kick-off-glitches. I myself have played games in FIFA 15 where I've scored 4-5 goals with the kick-off-glitch. Therefore a lot of the games in FIFA 15 end up with results like 6-4 or something.

There is also a major glitch, that both me and my closest friend have on FIFA 15, that is a very well known issue that many users have problems with. Which they haven't even fixed yet. And that is that the DNF multiplier on Ultimatte Team is stuck on 0,63. The DNF multiplier is what your match coins are multiplied with after every match to calculate how many coins you get for the match. When you disconnect (a.k.a. Rage quit) the DNF multiplier goes down A LOT. Then it slowly climes with 0,02 for every game you finish. It's EA's way of punishing players that don't finish games.

But having your coins multiplied with 0,63 rather then the maximum 1,25 after each game ads up to a lot of coins missed out after a while. So it's a big one. And they haven't fixed it yet! After nearly two months! I complained about it a couple of weeks ago and they gave me a complementary Premium Gold Pack saying they know about the issue but won't have a solution until the next patch is released.

Nah. Still haven't received my pre-order bonus. The Konami support is offline and nowhere to be found (maybe hiding in Brazil or something). They haven't answered my ticket/mail for about four days now. Yesterday, a lot of times I couldn't even log in to myClub. Got an error message about "not being able to load id-data" or something, even though I was connected to the servers. I got in to myClub at times but then I either couldn't find a game or the game would hang at "Establishing communications". I still managed to play about 10 games but most of the time I was just frustrated.

There is nothing wrong with my internet. I have a 100/100 fibre line. Everything else is working. I can play FIFA for days on end without loosing connection, stream from f.i. Netflix or some other service. I can do whatever with my internet. But the Konami servers just seem to dislike me or something.

Sooo....yeah, the game is still broken I think...

...And the nets are hideous. But I love the game otherwise!

Your pre-order bonus is an specific issue, it's the first time i read about that problem, in my case i even couldn't find my bonus and also think my game edition didn't had one untill i found the code in the box blush: yes, i know...i was atonished by the game the first day and didn't worried about that)

It's difficult to me considering Konami's support service as part of the game.

About online, well they are having problems with that righ now. Last weekend it was very difficult to even acces to myclub so maybe in this, you have a point, eventhough they may get a solution for that in the next week/s.

Anyway, i hope you have all your problems solved before weekend and enjoy the game.

PD: I also think "NETS" could be much better, but it's not a gamebreaker issue to me.
