you understand absolutely nothing about game development so im not even going to waste my breath explaining it to you.

your a foul mouthed merchant of doom that beats the fifa drum and thinks rather blindly that fifa is more like real football when anyone who actually plays football agrees pes is the better more realistic game.

you sound like all the other computer geeks who think hundreds of button commands equals simulation or that the advancements that fifa have made this year are in anyway relevant to making the game more true.

you understand nothing about the essence of football or can see where pes is heading.

waaaaaaaaaaaaa

If your intelect is so superior and you are so logical.

Please answer why something Konami developed and tested for 3 years didnt make it into a build that is at least 50%-60% complete.

this is such a old build that doesnt even have the new keeper animations

That's not what I wanted to say.

In some cameras positions the boots look like this:

And in other positions they look like this:

Here's another question.

Why would Konami turn up to Gamescom, for the grand unvieling of pes2010, about 2months before release....

With a 55% build which doesnt have the animations or 360 movement they went to gamescom to talk about?

Thats like rockstar going to a massive convention to announce the new euphoria engine for gta 4, then showing people gta 3 on ps2.

Makes no sense, somewhere down the line, something is wrong.

the same reason it wasnt implemented into the earlier builds of fifa10.

all games have different things added at different stages of development you dont start out with everythng in.

the newer animation set contains the animations for the 360 movement, not one of those videos at gamescom has 360 movement.

The reason seabass did not do a presentation with all the new animations and 360 movement in which he was is because that build has things in it that havent been signed off yet like sponsorship deals and licensing this is why the new trailor contains footage of older code with a few snippets of the current build.

We will in the next month see the game at the stage its currently at those gamescom demos are old code.

It doesnt matter what konami show now if the final product delivers because people wont care.

konam didnt even do a presentation like fifa they just made a few announcements and there not bothered what people think of the demo because there confident with the game at the current stage its at.

.

What builds of fifa have you seen or heard a playtest for without 360 movement?

The earliest one i have seen is the 1st build played by journos at the emirates about 3 months ago, which was 50% at the abosolute best.....

and that had 360,

Please explain.

it seems that EA sent their freak name "Tech_freak" to this forum just to create negativity towards PES 2010, so people should buy Fifa 2010.

FIFA F*cks on PC can you plz tell me Tech_freak when your beloved company EA is going to make a good game for PC. EA = console fanboys, Konami do not create differences among any platform.

looking forward to Pes 2010 looks much better than Pes 2009.

stop taking bullet points from my posts tech skill your a childish twat go and spread your fifa love on there forums rather then spreading your dull totally biased negativety on here.Is there something missing in your life is it that bad that you have to act your the most knowledgable person on here when you dont even apply one ounce of logic to any of your statements.Try putting one foot in first rather then both feet your save face in the long run.

Your becoming boring and completely blind to the facts and you dont understand how japanese developers work this demo at gamescom is so far away from wear pes2010 is right now.

You think fifa10 is good you havent seen nothing yet wait and see and i will personally be sending you a message when the news comes in.

Then reverted to insults.

Yet when i hit back people cry like babies.

Third time lucky eh, i thought you knew all about this sorta thing?

you can answer one of 2 questions

Here's question 1..............

Dont cry now.

EDIT: Here's a clue, either your wrong, or their pr is awful.

here we go again the 3 year chestnut.

what konami are saying is the game is currrently at 80% not the demo at gamescom which would of had to have been made at least 4 weeks ago if not longer due to licensing and the checks that need to be carried out by the relevant governing bodies before the games cleared to show,so that rules it out from being the lastest build.

theres no way the demo at gamescom is the 80% build, its probably the demo that was shown back in july to the press and fansites but is being shown with additional content to demonstrate the new lighting and graphics and the removal of the ai assistence and invisible walls on throw ins.Theres also no way each platform version has been optimised yet so the pc,ps3,xbox 360 versions will all be at different stages.

Nothing in the gamescom videos demonstrates 360 movement or the new tricks or the three new running animations plus the additional 300 movement and feinting routines.

Another thing all this rubbish about it being to fast is just ridiculous doesnt anybody actually realise that real football is very quick and speeds up and slows down according to how compact or stretched the play is.

All i ever hear is the ps2 glory days and how pes is now more arcady now and how perfect pes5 or 6 was, when in reality these earlier games where fall of faults and where far from perfect.Pes09 when you actually play it for more then five minutes is one of the best football games made despite its flaws and konami have done the right thing by building on this framework and im 100% confident konami will release the best football game they have ever made this year that will not only recycle the best elements from PES but also there other games like ISS on the n64 for the ultimate football sim.Thers no way its ever going to be like pes6 again the series is moving in a much more simulated measured direction that is less forgiving and more accurate.

P.S KONAMI WHERE MAKING MORE SIMULATED FOOTBALL GAMES BEFORE PES ITS NOT THE BE ALL AND END ALL AND IM GLAD PES09 AND NOW PES2010 IS MARRYING PES WITH THE DEEPER MORE SIMULATED ELEMENTS OF ISS AND YES THAT MEANS FASTER GAMEPLAY WHICH IS ACCURATE NOT 11 DWARFS RUNNING AROUND ON A OVERSIZED PITCH IN 8-AXIS AT A SLOW PACE BUILT AROUND THE SHORT PASS THAT WAS RESTRICTIVE AND ONE DIMENSIONAL.

I agree with some of the things you said, if not most of it... but I'm a bit confussed when you said "or the three new running animations".

PES always had 4 types of running animations, that barely differ from each other... Have Konami added 3 additional running styles to the old 4?

By the way, I think the game is looking great, graphics wise. But like everyone else, I expected better animations... even at this stage. I'm not expecting PES10 to equal FIFA10's Animations, but I expect something close to it.

The balls in PES 2010, as of now are 8 unlicensed balls (things like classic, WE 2010 Ball etc). The licensed ones are:

Adidas Terapass
Nike Total 90 Omni
Nike 90 Ascente Hi-Vis
Puma King Ball
Umbro Speciali LSR Pro Ball

so 13 in total.

The problem arises when you continuously comeback, again, and again, most of the time with the same stuff, and it becomes so mundane that it winds people up.

I don't see what's wrong with being optimistic, if I was pessimistic all the time then I'd be a tiring person to be around. It's not that your opinion annoys people because there are plenty of FIFA converts here, it's completely the way you go about voicing your opinions which is most annoying. It's been happening for months and everyone is getting sick of it (you are not the only culprit here) because there's about 3 or 4 people who just moan on about the same things over and over, provoking arguments, often with each other.

All I'm saying is, be easy on the negativity, we already know you dislike aspects of PES which is only natural. But say them once or twice with a logical argument, and move on to another point, don't recycle the same argument over days, even weeks, that's when it gets annoying.

agree, and you said it very nicely.

Yeah, this is why I haven't mentioned anything, I have only seen the HD vid and it didn't showed much. One thing to note though are the graphics, looks next gen to me.

But the Animations (top priority) still look robot-like, etc, etc. But I'll wait and see.

From evo web....

"I'd like to add a reminder for people thinking Konami still have enough time to change things for the final retail build.

http://www.atlus.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4016
In the link is Atlus USA spelling out some steps in bringing a game to their market and their expected duration. Relevant here are the final steps:

*Step 4 Quality Assurance: 5-8 weeks (test and debug)
*Step 5 Manufacturer Approval: 3-8 weeks (submit fully debugged code to console manufacturers and wait for their approval)
*Step 6 Manufacturing 3-5 weeks (print, box and ship)

That means if you're going to release a game mid to late October, you really should have the fully debugged, final build of the game around the beginning of September for submission to MS and Sony. The game probably should be feature locked for testing and debugging by the end of July as well."

Not my post, someone elses.

here is were i agree with u and i also don't understand why they would deliberately work this way because it goes against everything u learn about marketing but then again this is KONAMI and the truth is the way they market is not the way they make their games so that still leaves me optimistic.
the second reason is that they are the only football game that represents the real thing IN MY OPINION so the game can only get better.

the animation at times looks worse then pes09 especially running and sticky players.

The pes2010 gamescom demo is a very early beta demo nothing more and its intention is to just to show the graphics, throws ins and lack of ai assistannce in defence so in my eyes job done.

konami know its got to be perfect this year and it will be.

Ok, so to confirm

They went to gamescom after having just announced 360 movement and 300 new animations......

The whole point of seabass going to gamescom was to talk about the fantastic new pes2010 features.............

But they deliberatley decided not to show anybody the new additions they announced?

thats what your saying right?

theres a different demo being shown to the press behind closed doors to the one the public is seeing mainly due to content that hasnt been signed off yet.

the intention was to show it but because of legal reasons it cant be shown publically yet.

are give you a hint it involves sponsors and prem teams in the champions league and europa cup.

what do you think?

While you think that over.

"Not too sure what to say to all guys, it seems you are all down hearted.

For me it was about movement, and how the game flows. That was PES is about. The animations you all crave for are in FIFA. What PES has are animations that keep the game flowing, much better than PES 2009.

While everyone is busy comparing to FIFA, you should take a step back and compare to PES 2009. Massive work done between those games. PES was never going to catch FIFA for animations in one year.

For those who are saying the animation is horrible are guys I can't understand. They are fine, and help the game flow better."
