yeah i mean like u can choose up to 3 mini training schedules so that if you wanted to make a world class star you have to put the time into training to boost certain attributes a bit more just an idea tho

^Well but having training like he said would be really realistic. That way we could build our own individual how we want him. Even though I believe that every player will have something special from the begining not with training. For example Del piero was always awesome at spot kicks and free kicks. with training he got better, but that was always a strong point.

Possibly, but I would not want some sorts of "points" you redistribute to the stats you want to build your player on. You would have to focus on stamina and pass accuracy on your training matches.

I am doing great with BaL. :w00t
I started at NAC Breda. 1st year we ended at 2nd place. I was top goalscorer of the league and made my debut for the dutch team at the world championships. I was a supersub alway making a goal or giving a assist. The dutch team won the championship :shocking:. 1st season played at level average.
After my good season I thought I would get some great offers, but no, the offers I got where'nt even worth thinking about not even a big club from Holland(AJAX PSV or Feyenoord):shocking: so I stayed at NAC Breda because they would play in the CL.
2nd season was a great success. This season I played at Pro level at first it was hard but my player got better and better as he kept on scoring en giving assists. In Dutch league we ended at 5th place and i became leagues top goal scorer again and 3rd in assistlist.
Also winning the CL with lots of luck.:shocking: The group stage was rather easy with mostly little clubs. Fenerbahce was the strongest club in the group. We ended 2nd in the group. Next round was a bit less easy. We stumbled upon Barca. In the away match we won with 3 to 1. With us having 4 shots on goal and they had a lot more. I scored a hattrick. The home match was a real nailbiter. At the end of the 1st hal we were 3 goals down. But when the 2nd half started I started a solo and scoring and we were back in the game. Barca was realy pushin to win this game. But instead we scored again out of a freekick. Still 20 minutes to go and I got substituded and I didn't had any influence anymore :cussing:. But we survived.
Then we had to play against Fenerbahce again. We won easy and got trough tot the semi-final. We had to play Real Madrid

The home match was again a real nailbiter with Real Nadrid winning 1-0. I touched the ball not even 5 times and was again sustituded now in the 60th minute. And Real madrid kept pushing and pushing for the winning goal and NAC managed to equalize and even got in front. :shocking:. But Real Madrid made the equalizer in the 85th minute and so they had to score just one goal. They almost did. They had a shot hitting the bar. I thought it went in :realmad: but it didn't and so it was over. But if the match had continued 5 minutes longer we would have lost.
The final was against Man U. With them having 20 shots at goal and us 3 shots at goal it ended like it started 0-0. We won on penalties.

And so I finally got a transfer to a big club. Barcelona.
This season I play at the highest level. The first match I came in at the beginning of the 2nd half. My 2nd touch of the ball was a goal (the winning goal :biggrin and my 3rd action the game earning me a red card. So my debut lasted 7 minutes :lol2:
After 7 matches we are at 2nd place. 5 wins and 2 draws. Real Madrid is no1 with 7 wins. In the CL we are in a group with Sporting Lisbon, AC Milan and Arsenal. We played 2 matches so far and we won Both.
I played 8 matches for Barca and scoring 8 goals and giving 1 assist.
It's nice 2 play at a club thats less depending on me.
But I have 1 question. My stats are starting to look like something but can you earn cards? Somebody know?

:shocking:Let me first mention that i had a proper, pretty epic and in-depth account written out about my BAL mode so far.
Problem is, i just tried to post it and i got some stupid logging in error which left me at a dead end without the text that i had put so much effort into and no way of getting back to it. FFS!:realmad: . I get more bloody errors on this site than any other site i go on and this time it cost me bigtime...like an hour of my frickin life! :angry:
So now all you get is my pissed off super quick, totally non-epic version with barely any info at all as i can't bring myself to go through it all again. Sorry:erm:
Made him to my actual spec. 183cm, 73kg, WF. Can play both sides. Added face pic too.
Decent scout match. Got an assist.
Happy with movement and general AI improvements.
Offers from a couple of reasonable teams. Went with Lazio to be used as AMF. Happy with this.

Called up to England squad for World Cup.
Joined Chelsea for 940pts around World Cup semi's.

Soon found i was starting due to good performances.

the training in new star soccer works similar to this, i think this is a great idea.

Got a little suspicious of how easy my game seemed to be, considering I was playing on Top PLayer (or so I thought). Turns out it was Regular.
Thought of restarting the BAL on a higher difficulty but I figured I could try Professional for awhile on the one I had since you can change in the last week of the year.
Dude... Regular and Professional are two completely different games.
Regular is much more realistic game where possession is more equally balanced between the AI opponents and the AI teammates. It's just a bit too easy.
Professional (and assumingly Top Player) is virtually unplayable without a huge amount of luck. My Bordeaux side has played 6 games. One win, 5 draws, 2-0 in goals.
2 goals. In 5 games. And not for my, thats the WHOLE teams goal deficit.
I dont even think itll get better once my player gets better because I am not the problem - the opponent AI is. And the teammate AI is.

still in the second team but my seniors have lost every game so far, only 5 or six but i'm starting to wish i'd taken wigans money instead of wolves.

made my debut from the bench v City last night, my guys have lost all but two games so far, strangely beating Chelsea and Liverpool. six points adrift and 10 points from safety, not that you can be relegated but it'd be nice to finish in a safe league position anyway. i turned down transfers from Burnley, Hull, Birmingham and Wigan as i felt i may owe Wolves something as by this point i hadn't played for the first team. 0-0 against City, lost 1-0 to Portsmouth but i never got off the bench and same at Arsenal. i was pissed to miss the Spurs match as that was my target but i was still in the reserves at that point.

I just had the biggest WTF moment of my BAL playing days.
Semi-final with England in the World Cup, agains't Poland. Game goes to penalties. And there's how it ended.

I started as CMF, signed for stoke then in jan trans window on to fulham & the world cup with England, already scored for me country a few times & had about 10 Man of the MAtch awards & then decided I'll go to spain & have signed for Athletico Madrid, tho should have waited til after the world cup & see what came along! I dunno if its me but I'm finding it a bit easy so far?
BAL in pes2010 is awesome. I've played BAL in pes2009, and a bit dissappointed with the way the AI plays. But in 2010, it's a GREAT improvement. Although I'm the weakest (rated 55) player in my team (Pompy), the teammates AI is sure love to pass.
I love running forward to spaces and hates running back to defend, and the AI pass me the ball at the right time without me pressing RTx2. Heck, I just need to move to the correct space, and my AI friend pass the ball to me (sometimes for 1-2). I just love it...
p.s.: I'm AMF 188cm 80kg right footed player.

started as a DMF but Wolves play me as a CMF.
i scored, yes, thats right, i bagged the equalizer against wigan and got a rating of 8.00.
it wasn't a classy goal, more like scrapping for the ball with THREE defenders around me, then blasting the ball home.
the game seems to be getting a bit easier now my stats have gone up, only by 2 or 3 points but it has made the difference.

I came into Fulham with an average rating of 63 and was considered a star of the team right away.
I was also a star in the England squad by the end of the year, now with an average of about 67 or 68.
They sure like to hand out those stars.
