^ So let me get it straight. You're not saying it's harder playing on professional? You're only saying that it's more fun because your team is not totally lost without you on the pitch? - So when you play, isn't it too easy to dribble etc. on pro level?

On professional, it's hard aswell, but less AI cheating and your team plys better I guess. I also play on professional and it is still hard and you cannnot dribble like in pes 09 for sure. The defenders will still outrun you on professional, but professional is better ecause there's less scripting and cheating (although cheating is still high).

Okay. It's just that i don't want it to be too easy for my player to dribble etc. And it already gets a bit easy sometimes (but okay i play in eredivisie, so that might change when i move on) But on professional, aren't the keeper worse than on top player?

I think profesional made my keeper better, not sure about theirs, maybe about the same.

My keeper was pulling off some good saves that he would normally just let in.

Another thing I've noticed is that on Professional the AI is less deadly in front of goal. I'm sure we've all had games on Top Player where you have 15 shots and lose to the AI who has 1 shot. Well, that doesn't seem to happen any more. Maybe that's why people think their keepers are better?

I'm in my first season on top player. I created myself, with an imported face: 175cm and 67kgs - not a big guy. I'm a left-footed AMF.

I didn't have a particularly crash hot scout game, and I took an offer from AS Livorno.

Made the first team reasonably quickly, playing four games off the bench, with 2 assists, before the mid-season break. A pile of offers came in, including high-flying Napoli. I stuck with my cellar-dwellers Livorno.

We've lost a lot of games, and we're sitting 15th. However, we've managed to take 7 points in 3 games against Roma, Inter and AC Milan - and I scored one in each game!

I'm clearly a big game player haha.

My aggression stat has been 83 from the start. And I've played to suit it - box-to-box tackling, always looking to receive a pass, plenty of yellows and reds.

I'm developing really well, and trying to get a good defensive rating each game, at least a B.

I've had no troubles with Top Player, plenty of goals and chances every game, and it's a great challenge. ;)

I'm in my fourth season as a central midfielder, playing for man utd at the moment. The most annoying thing about starting as a central midfielder is that your defense rating will be greater than your attack rating for a long time and you'll be playing as a defensive central midfielder(with balanced skill card) .Will this change when my attack rating overtakes defense?

^ Don't really know how to delete them. (when i've tried deleting posts it only seems like i can edit them) Awesome stats mate - you must be one of the best cmf's in the game! how old is your player? And what difficulty do you play?

- I'm still with Groningen (3rd) season. Literally forgot to change club during the transfer window. Just kept forwarding to next week hoping for other clubs than dutch (and racing club) So ended in the last week with only Groningen offering me a contract.
Will definetely move in mid season, that's for sure.
Play from start every game as AMF behind fellow danes N. Pedersen and Nordstrand..

^You're in the 5th season right? Pretty good stats there.
Yeah, I made a mistake arlier. I'm halfway through my 5th season and I won the Ballon d'or. Rooney stole my WPOTY trophy because he scored loads of goals in world cup qualifiers(most of which I provided) even if i had a higher rating than him :( . Some of the stats are a lot lower than the ones I saw on other players here , but I tried to keep mine as even as possible. The 87 starting stamina helped a lot in the first 2 seasons as I was able to play through full matches and gain extremely huge match xp bonuses.

My player is 21. I thought I'd struggle in Top-Player, so I played in professional. But my assist/ goal stats in professional say that top player would have been more suited to me. I'm not going to switch difficulties now either. If I do, it'll be with a fresh player in a different position, when I'm bored with this one(That'll probably happen when I win the WC with england).

You cant switch anyway, I tried to go down to pro but it wouldnt let me.

I'm enjoying bal now, second season, joined sunderland and my player is starting to make a differance. I can feel him improving. We are Top half of the table and I'm top of the assist ranking. Not getting many goals, most have been parrys, long range or luck. Teammates are 2 greedy to pass when I'm clean through.

^Wait a few more and they'll pass the ball really well. I am now in the 4th season with Barcelona and they really pass well.
Also you can switch difficulty in the end of season negotiations.:)

I'm having thoughts about staying with sunderland for the rest of my career. I'm a regular first teamer. The manager always sticks me in my favourite position and we arnt a bad team. We might even get into europe this season. Hopefully well sign some big name players in the transfer window (or is it only you that can transfer? never noticed).

But if the big clubs come calling with their crazy salarys I may be tempted to move on.

Is it better to be a big player at a smaller club or a small player at a bigger club? Not sure yet.

Finally finished the game.
It is very addictive, in spite of all its flaws.
