Hi. I have to say I am dissapointed about this year's BaL. I'm playing as a AMF on top player and my AI team mates are as retarded as they can be. Playing against any team just feels like total ownage from them. I started for De Graafschap and at first I thought it's cuz of the team being low and all that. But after a few games nothing really happened, team mates are doing ridiculous passes, take ball and run forward, not even try a stunt or something. Not to say about the defensive skills, they are awful, other teams usually go trough my defense like trough butter. I really hoped this year's BaL would be better than last year's after I've played the demo but now I see it's even worse. I'm supposed to play for the team, to drag the team after me but I cannot to that if my team mates aren't capable of a decisive pass or even a simple trough pass. I'm not saying I'm a top of the line player or something like that but seriously when I play a match my team looks like they're amateurs. We got smashed 5-0 at home by Heracles Almelo, which imo is worse than my team. I see you all here have only good opinions about this year's bal so I'm guessing your team mates aren't as stupid as mine are?

Started my BAL as a German SS playing for Rayo Velladona or something...
63 Overall

I started brilliantly scoring in my first game! After that things got tough...real tough.

I've played 7 games and only score twice and I eally struggle to make an impression in my games. My team sucks big time and we are 3rd from the bottom...only because we draw a lot of games.

I'm playing as a lone striker for the team, which doesn't make it easier as well.

so, ravex, can you tell me possible ways to improve your rating or stats like winning world cups, playing good in certain areas, training etc. because i seem a bit confused here

I can't really say anything other than keep on playing, man :) Move to bigger teams as early as possible - they have far more training points to offer, which speeds up your development.

Other than that, it's about getting the feel of your team. Know how they play and behave accordingly. The teammate AI isn't as static this year, which is really good. For the first time ever in BAL, you can really feel the difference of having a striking partner with a 85 rating, as opposed to a 65 rating. That's also another reason to try and move to a bigger club as quickly as possible.

I've been playing as a striker in Become a Legend since it was introduced (PES 2009), so I'm used to the format as a whole. Practice, practice, practice :)

nice stats jagger, your already on pare with Defoe or Bent, and good to see you scoring more goals at your new club. Graafschap are a good stepping stone club so keep banging in goals and the top clubs will soon come a chasing :)

have florentina and Roma looking at me, just want to move so i can get more training points, think they both have 14.

How do you guys get bigger clubs to look at you?
I'm only about 8 games into my BAL, but I average 6.8 match ratings and well and truly begin the only positive thing about Rayo Valledona.

I tried pushing for moves to Athelitico Madrid and Villareal but to no avail.
I just bought a new agent, will that make the difference? I now have the agent that is second from the top.

Actually, 99 I had the same problems at when playing.
Trust me when I say it gets easier once you move to a good team.

My personal opinion is that it's not just your teammates but the tactic as well. Are AI Managers, most of them anyway, just ignore their opponent strengths and play their way of football and that just not how the modern game works. In football you have to adapt to face curtain threats, make minor adjustment, and we just aren't seeing this do very well in BAL mode.

My advice to you:
As you're an attacking midfielder, I would say to drift in-between the space between the opponent's midfield and defence. Don't be afraid to dedicate the tempo, call for the ball like a mad man and plays lots of one-twos.

Regardless of your tactic, long ball, quick counter or whatever, just try to keep the ball in your opponent half, pass the ball in little triangle around challenging players and look to feed in a striker or winger when possible. If you can't see any good opinions up front don't panic just play the ball backwards, move into some open space and call for the ball back immediately. If the pitch gets congested on one side pass the ball to the other and stretch the play.

If your two goals up and look like conceding a goal get the ball and push it out wide, try to waste time for a few minutes. This works well in the second half and you can do it for short spells until you see a real opening to attack. Good luck :D

Well yea, I've played like 13-14 games with the team, they're still retarded but I'm assist leader with 6 and 4th place goalscorer with 7. I'm doing pretty good and average rating is somewhere @ 6.9 - 7. I'm gonna try and find a better team from winter, preferably Napoli and see what I can do there. Also I started with 61 overall and now I'm 62. Even with my large contribution to the team we're on the 10th place with 14 goals scored out of which I scored 7 and assisted other 6. Without me the tea just can't create any goalscoring opportunities.

Began playing this mode on professional a couple days ago and imaddicted. Made an AMF with base overall stats of 55 and two cards -classic no.10 and flip flap skills.

Started out with Roda JC, 1st season played 35 games for 15 goals and 7 assists. Man of the match 6 times and made the eurodivise team of the year, we finished 2nd. Following season i got a call up to the Aussie national squad and have been playing off the bench. I transferred to Sunderland in the off season and looking back it was a dud move, same training points as my last club and quite a shitty team on the same amount of pay. Looking to get to a club with more coaching points.

Well, my BAL came to an unexpected end last night. :crymore:

After only two seasons, 32 app, 4 goals and 7 assist with, West Brom I was told I wasn't getting another contract. I was shocked, "you can't sack me boss I sack you!" [Dramatic door slam], and even more to my surprise I had to impress any visiting scouts in the next training game or no one would sign me.

Ha fair enough, I though. But who am I play in this career ending match well, only A.C F***ing Milan!

As you might of already guessed I didn't impress any clubs. A quick cut scene appeared, sad parting words were said by my agent and it was game over.

The worst thing is that I turned down a move to,
Aston Villa in January out of loyalty :realmad::realmad: :realmad:

it's funny what your player can do in bal but your players can' in ml. like for instance in ml your players can moan about not being played etc. and in bal you can't when evryones else can. or in bal a player can pick what team they wanna go to and in ml only you decidee where everyone is going

:laugh:I know its crazy when you put it that way, hopefully Konami will integrated some of the features of ML into BAL and vice versa.

it would be really nice if they could intergrate all three modes of football life, so it feel like the same mode, but from different perpectives, player, manager and chairman.

After a promising first season, my transfer has been full of frustration. Sunderland play a long ball strategy with a target man that is fucking useless and wingers who send it in with nobody with in 20 yards of the fucking box. Im first choice AMF and captain after one season there, but i still get subbed around 60th minute for some useless hack. We finished the EPL in 5th and qualified for europa but im just over it

I refuse to play for the Aussie national team, the manager brings me on after 60 mins and plays me as a DMF... get stuffed. Desperately been trying to transfer out of this club but having no luck even with the 3rd best agent.

I love it but i hate ><. Its my own doing because i didnt look at formations or strategy before signing up.

I'm halfway through my first season in my German SS BAL career.

I added Roma and Schalke to my desired clubs after hiring the secons worst agent, though an improvement on the trailer park trash piece of shit I had.

Surprisingly, Schalke was interested and were negotiating and Roma wanted to send scouts to my nest game. Schalke has 11 training points, and Roma 13.

My next game, was the2nd Leg of my first round clash of the Copa del Rey against Real Zaragoza. I had a poor match, and was very depressed since this is the game that Roma scouts are attending. In injury time, with the score 0-0 (first leg was 0-0 as well) our LMF flies a cross in and I jump for the header, GOOOAAAAALLL!! My first headed goal in my career, and also the tie winner!

After another game I get the message, ufortunately Schalke is not interested...I quickly come back down to earth and don't think I stand a chance with Roma. 2 day later I get a message Roma is interested and sent me a contract offer! :D

I sign.

My next game is against Barcelona, and I get red carded :p

Can't wait till 1 Jan to move to Roma! WHOOP!

pick the club you want in desired club.then you'll scout or sign you.

you can buy extra content, which make it much easier to get sighed, or you can just play like a boss

As far as I know you can only use your unlocked options when you start a new BAL, and not on a existing one.

I started a new BAL, this time playing as a left midfielder.

Name: Bobby Konno
Nationally: Mali
Top stats: top speed 80
Lowest stats, shooting 54

Overall: 67

Vvv-venlo was my starter club and I picked up two positions, FW and AMF as they don't play with wide midfielders.
The teams defence is shocking but I've linked up well with, Musa (19) upfront to get a few draws and the odd win. VVV end the season third bottom.

Average Rating: 6.5
App start 21 subs 5, goal 2, assists 11
cards: yel 8, reds 2
Overall 67-69

The return of the transfer window saw me get my first international cap and assist. Coming on as a sub I setting up, Freddie Kanoute of Mali for the winner.

Season two, I picked up where left off last season, Musa and I combining with deadly effect upfront. I had quickly become an important part of the team and was often given the, give fans what they want: mission. passed 3/4 missions :innocent:

In January I got scouted without even asking by PSV and some Pes league clubs, which broke down in negotiations.

The season drawing to an end, VVV sat 11th and stayed there with a five game unbeaten run.

Average rating 7.0
Club: App 26 subs 2, goals 3, assists 14
Cards: yel 5, reds 1
Internationals: app: 2 subs: 1 goal: 0, assist: 2
Overall: 69-72

The summer window popping up again, I moved to Italian club, Cesena. Hopefully I can impress the top clubs and get playing some Euro football soon. Will post season three later.

tough break, itsame hope things get betterfor you soon.

nice going, R9NALD9 I'm enjoying reading your posts.
