my player is aged 22 and i hope to get an overall rating of 90+ before the end of this season... You get the most experience gained for playing well in the champions league games.. this is important to develop fast.
Highlight so far was scoring 2 goals in the final of the Champions League against Barca
Finally... playing alongside Ronaldo is infuriating... he rarely plays you in instead always shooting for goal... that said ive gained alot of assists by setting him up. While Ozil is great to play alongside, seem to link up well with him. And now Sahin is coming onto a game... he develops into a great player... Last of all... Ronaldo's Freekicks are ridiculous regularly flying past the goalkeepers head! Overall the new BAL mode is quality IMHO so much so i haven't even started a master league yet!
One point of interest... the game actually becomes much much better on Superstar difficulty because your team mates play better in both attack and defence.
I would like to post screen shots of my player stats but i have no idea how??

My BAL went a bit nuts today, it changed to my default ML camera view on its own, and when I got subbed off, there was no option to speed up the gameplay. I just saved it and reloaded it, and it was back to normal.

Been reading all your stories and cant wait to get stuck into my Be a Legend. I wonder if I can ask a few questions. Last year I played on Top Player, what are the advantages ( if any ) of playing on Superstar? Will I find it too hard? I will probably use the fatigue unlock and as I want to start at West Ham will edit a player before I start the game and use the existing player unlock. I dont want to make it unrealistic so what stats should I make my player ( who will be 17 ) overall? I want to play as an AMC.
Finally is it worth paying the 600 Points for the unlock that improves the chances of getting offers from clubs I want to play for or should I leave that alone? I am not buying the one that improves my chances of being selected for the national team as I think i takes a bit of the fun away from the game.

I think at the moment its too easy to get offers from big clubs and play for the national team so I'd say save the 600. Unless they patch it to be harder.
I did this I as felt that as the option for ML & BAL are in Football Life, I expect to have 1 football life save file with 2 different load options.
Really no point in these 2 options being under 1 option, if they are completely seperate anyway.
just have BAL and ML as separate icons on the menu
Plus the save icons look too simillar
I can see quite a few people after a mammoth session of gaming finishing at 4 or 5am after having a few bevvies making a save over the wrong one only to wake up the follwing day to realise what you've done
Finished the first season with AC Ajaccio. Also got called up to the France national team, and played in some friendlies before playing in the UEFA Euro. Probably the best match I ever played was a 5-0 win over Netherlands where I scored 4 goals somehow. I managed to advance from the group stage but was beaten 1-0 by Portugal in the quarter-finals. My last Ligue 1 match was against Lyon and Ajaccio won it 1-3 away, but I didn't score any goals. I now play in the Europa League.

Earl Evans was unveiled to the media by VVV- Venlo's Head Talent Scout as a bright prospect and with the potential spearhead of their attack for 2011-1212 season and challenge our current forward.
Mr Talent Scout is quoted as saying 'He has a great build at 189cm and 94kg. He can be moulded to lead our line for some time to come. At 17 he has so much time ahead of him and bags of potential'.
He would have to prove this first to the manager in a training match with Trabzonspor.

This game finished 3-2 to the Turkish side but Earl proved this ability score a headed finish from a by-line cross.
The opening game was against Feyenoord at home, a grand fixture to prove his metal, and prove it he did.

Debut goal, header from a deep leftside cross.
The second was won when Feyenoord keeper poor distribution was intercepted on the edge of the box by Earl and to make matter worst as Earl fake shotted Darley he was brought down.
Earl stepped up to give VVV the lead after Feyenoord had taken the lead in the 5th min. The pen was dispatched into the roof of the net. Feyenoord's game got worst as a late pen was missed.
(ps. playing on Superstar level and the AI is better on your team)
Eredivisie Rnd 2 De Graafschap (H)
Another early goal conceded, and Evans used as a target made had a number of half chances and attempted to flick on for other to no avail, a poor perfomance with only 2 chances on target of 6. He could have done better with two of his strikes.
1-0 loss
Eredivisie Rnd 3 FC Groningen (A)
Subbed off in 60th mins, only managed 2 headed chance from deep cross, just couldnt get into the right positions.
VVV conceded in the 70th min and the game finished that way.
1-0 loss
Friendly - Galatasaray
Missed a pen he won, dreadful pen down the middle. Worked well in attacking position though, was it good enough to impress the manager.
0-0 not a great game zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

An early lead taken by VVV, header at the back post by Uchebo. Mins later Earl unloads a shot that beats the keeper but hits the left up right from the edge of the box.
PSV pull a goal back, and then take the lead late in the 2nd half. Earl Evans was a real let, got on the end on nothing

Hi! quick question about become a legend mode. is there any way for we to choose our team?! it's because i am portuguese and i would like to start my carrer in a portuguese team, but after hours trying i can't end up on a portuguese team!!! italians, dutch, french and sometimes english teams but zero portuguese!!! it's freaking anoying!!!
Only way is to edit an existing player, move them to the team you wanna start with and unlock 'play as an existing player'.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate that. Can anyone help with advice on Superstar level? Is this a good level to play at considering I played on Top Player last year? Are there any advanatges to the superstar level?
superstar is easier than top player because it isn't horribly scripted and very fair as the mode was made itself not with influence to top player so superstar is the way to go if you did top player last year.

So I was playing for tottenham, 45 goals, 21 assists in 51 games...i then won the world footballer of the year, nice suit by the way, so barcelona comes sniffing around and offers 26 million.
This should be good i am thinking, they then proceed to not play me in a single game for 3/4 of a season. My agent informs me that things are looking grim at barca, so i jumped ship to arsenal, sorry, north london.
Good programming there. Still my overall went up 3 points in about 10 minutes.
For people trying to get in a specific league, you might want to unlock the option in the extras that makes it easier for you to join the team you want.
