Have you recently signed a player(s)? As the cost of a match depends on the players in your team. The better the players the higher you pay to play but also I believe the more you will get for a win etc.

Well it'll be that then, very helpfull. Close to replacing Andy Carroll with Peter Odemwingie, but the cash can't come in the way the servers are currently running ... trying to get into a game but it keeps on saying "an error has occured" so i'm going to have to wait.


Also the same old problems seem to happening with cheats, i'm 1-0 up with 5 minutes remaining against a Divison 3 Arsenal (i'm Division 5) and i'm thinking how much of a killing i'm going to make and then he pauses it and after a good connection for 85 minutes the connection goes.

i have one question. How do I come into a competition?? I don't know but my ps3 always says that it isn't open at the moment or something. Please help me or do I have to come exactly at the time that stands on the competitions??

If the comp is at 17.00 then u can enter after 17.00 even if its 17.30 if there is still space available..

Also an hour before the comp they put the next comp's time..e.g when its 16.00, in your mlo menu it says next comp will be at 19.00..

Its jsut whoever is disconnected, he/she will get the win..so maybe in Sinclair's case, he was the one that got dced..

I believe you play against human on coach mode..since its MLO, there isnt cpu teams there..lol..and if its coach mode, u cant play it..why do the coach mode if u want to play the game??

come on to people winge-ing that their opponent is playing 4-0-6 formations, well you have only yourself to blame for not exploiting that.

the game is fair (as fair as a video game gets). you both get 11 players. for me most people i see play 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 or 4-4-2. I play a 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-1-2 right now.

i think some people are disappointed that their opponent doesn't play the way they want. that's not the game's fault.. if someone is playing a 4-0-6 just play a high DF line and push your players up to his empty midfield.

Foss- I play PES because the capability is there to play an enjoyable game of soccer. I do not find it enjoyable when it becomes just a video game whose weaknesses are there to be exploited by using ridiculuous formations and tactics. Could I use the same ridiculous formations? Sure but then we've got something that doesn't even begin to look like a real game.

In real life, it is suicide to play a 20 super high defensive line because, unlike the game, there is nothing limiting the speed of attacking players and it results in a sprint between attackers and defenders to get to the through ball and straight to goal. Barcelona is a prime example of this. Almost no one else plays this type of defense because of the danger and because ball possession becomes paramount to limit the chances of a counterattack. Yet everyone plays this way in PES because the game helps the defender speed up which kills any reason for midfield build up play. The game effectively punishes real life tactics which would necessitate a much deeper defensive line if you have slower defenders which would also open up the field allowing passing.

A huge help would be to also increase the stamina loss for people who abuse the sprint button. The amount of pressing that most opponents use would mean that players would be dead at halftime. It would also help to make people play more realistic formations as they would be punished for playing too many attackers and forcing them to constantly have to sprint back into defense.

In the end, I want to play a good game of soccer, something that mimics real life. I have played a few online out of the over 200 matches but the majority are dbags trying to exploit the system through various means. After enough of these matches, I quickly lose my desire to play online anymore.

the stamina is about right dude, on the 60th-90th the performance of the players drop..Weird if u cant feel it..its just a game, even if its perfect sim, u will see people with 6 strikers, there is nothing u can do about it. Tho, we can counter their tactic easily, just need to tweak your team style 4-0-6 means no midfield, if u can beat a team like that then I dont know what to say.

No, you play up against another person who's on coach mode. It's basically just two AI's playing against eachover.

The whole point of coach mode, is it's a timesaver if you generally don't have much time and just want to gain some money to build up your squad. I must admit the majority of my games are done on coach mode, but that's just at the moment as i'm revising whilst it's on coach mode, but when i do have team i'd so much rather play.

I love the MLO concept but Im getting over it really really quickly..
I had the house to myself for the weekend, so I figure im gonna smash out plenty of MLO - JNot to be...

Somehow from about 7am until the last time i tried at about 6pm i got no opponent found... seriously WTF.. now i wasnt trying to get a game all day, I started playing 2 or 3 games in BAL then i would try get a game online a couple of times and go back to BAL..
Now apparently there were many thousands of people in quick match but I'm unable to find an opponent:realmad:

I was in the ML open today and just missed the playoffs, however I beat a D3 and D4 while being in D5, which put me squarely in position to be promoted to D4.

quick question, do you earn more attendance revenue as you are promoted?

So you've only brought in four players after 49 games :happy: Just release the original players, and bring in some more players. Kevin Davies is a good player though.

So spent the best part of the weekend continuing to play MLO and a few things sprang to mind.

1) The matchmaking system is utter crap - Today there were at least 3000 people looking for quick matches, and yet in 3 matches it matched me against some guy in D5 who had the default team (poor him) and 2 people in D3 and D2 respectively (poor me im in D4) I refuse to believe that there was no one from D4 looking for a game...

2) The server stability is crap - Today it lost connection at least twice, had numerous ''an error occurred' messages when trying to start a game, of the 3 hours I played today I must have easily spent 1 hour trying to connect or staring at a loading screen, and when they did connect I was dealing with heavy lag.

3) People suck - yeah I said it, most people still persist playing stupid long ball tactics to the wings and trying to rob your defense, then theres the people who persist watching boring replays, then the people who continually comment on boring events and those who play pathetic game killing formations that reduce the game to a farce, some matches have been great even when I lost, but most are tiresome.

4) Despite all the above im somewhat addicted to it weirdly

It says (for instance) next comp at 14.45 so you wait till 14.35 and check it again and it says 'next comp at 15.45' can people fill them up before the alloted time? And if so whens the earliest you can join one? Oh and can you in theory lose money if you dont do very well?

Yes, I ve mentioned it on previous post..Its on ps3 though..that guy now has 90 mill asset, 1400 matches..lmao..thats like 11 days playing without rest..No sleep or life whatsoever..lol..I monitored him daily, n he gained more than 10 mill a day, has more than one account..
