Morning All

After my relegation back to Div5. Ive change tactics from 4-4-2 to what Konami describe as 4-2-3-1 (or 4-5-1 to most people), this seems to give more support when attacking for some reason.

This is my current team (only English players allowed):
GK - Hart
LB - Konchesky
CB - Ridgwell
CB - W Brown
RB - Hibbert
LM - Downing
DM - Hargreeves
DM - P Neville
LM- Adam Johnson
RM - Bentley*
AM - Osman*
CF - Darren Bent
*these 2 can swap positions

This is my shopping list:
AM- Joe Cole
RM- James Milner
DM- Gerrard (in the very distant future)
CF- Rooney (ditto)

Now i've got just over £1m (made in just 1 day some how) in the bank so need to save another £3m or so to get Cole or Milner.
Question is do I save up, or spend a little on maybe getting a sub striker like maybe Andy Johnson, or someone who can play either side of Midfield or in AM?

Vangelis, as long a you enjoy playing the game that's grand mate- if you are number 9 in the game then good for you and you are the highest ranked player I've talked to certainly. You're also good fun here as you inspire debates, I just can't see it'd be much fun for you playing people so much worse than you all the time surely? I almost feel sorry when I get put againt a div 5 newbie with default players because I remember how crap it was when I started out. Of course that's when I start getting cocky, showboat and end up needing an injury time fluke deflected off Valeny' arse to win but that's another matter..

I was interested to see about morale being based on previous results as I never knew that- any other bits of info that might help us? cheers

50% isn't low, but its not even that great,just in case you dont know, you're talking to someone with a 15% higher win rate than that, and no i've never talked to a higher ranked player, but I am one. my mate ng_501 on this forum has at least 55% win rate the last time i checked, and his squad is similar to yours.honestly i can never see myself going around telling people" OH HEY!PLAY LIKE ME,CAUSE I'M AWESOME"

That might be true, but whenever i bring on Haedo Valdez on he nearly always plays out of his skin.I bring him on alot at half time ,he always seems to do the business .
Here's my team in div1 ,currently got about 530 points.

Win record is 69% .
I only know that because i've been trying to get to 70% for a while now:laugh:.
Really enjoying this team because it's so rewarding wiping the floor with these superteams in div1 and outplaying them without the pes superhero's.

I tend to bring on subs even if they're on bad arrows they seem a little quicker than the rest. Is it only after 70mins that they make such a difference- haven't really looked into the 'card' system, anyone able to explain them much?

Need speed on the SS players. Not so expensive tho. And it would be nice if they could make a nice cross or two.

believe me ask some of the best players (including me) and they will all tell you that you get your first sub AFTER you have a great starting 11. it is ok, when you get better you will learn

I guarantee i'm a better player than you , cause i take all you div1 Noobs to football school while your all rushing in the corner's with messi spamming low crosses that doesn't make you good at the game,if you can outplay me in a game i'll give you respect but i know your just another kick rush player.
I've got 30 million in the bank,i don't need top players to wip ass.It means nothing to me if you have a good record with Arshavin, Messi etc.
My gran can beat me with the Arcade Noobish /superhero players.I've seen you on pes fan posting identical posts as on here maybe we should play a few games and i'll teach you how real old school pro evo players play the game:ninja:.I regular change the game with subs against high ranked div 1 with subs but i prob will never face you cos' i don't get paired up with cheaters know more since the patch. Deal with it.

Personally I'm gonna congratulate Vangelis, that still is a cracking achievement no matter what team you have so well done. My question is now..what? What are you going to do next? How do you top that? Or are you gonna give up?

I remember a few editions ago there was a Scottish guy who ruled at Pro Evo online. The amazing thing about what he did (and probably why i still remember it) is not his approx 95% win record or 200 game winning streak. the outstanding thing was that he did it all with Scotland! I got to play him and while he only beat me 2-0 I was never in any danger of getting anything out of the game. So while you're good Vangelis...there's always someone better! Why not start again and go for a 70%, 80%, 90% even win record perhaps?
