the incisive run card just adds a cple animations to your smf that can help beat defenders. i d play dempsey closer to the middle(still as an smf) and lay the ball off to him for him to shoot, or have him dribble up the ball and be involved in 1-2 passes. also if u beat ppl on the opposite wing u can look for a mismatch on the far post, he usually got to every header against an sb when i played with him.

Why not fun?? You think fun the most players put the ball behind of your SideBack, cross to area and goal? I'm not!

i'm a competitive man, that means: Victory is most fun event!

Saying he would rather cheese and win than to play realistically.

While we like to have sidebacks who support the attack and then put in normal crosses for goals, he prefers to long pass to the corner flags and ground cross it off our CBs heels and lob through pass off kick offs.

In all online games there are always people who think fun is being victorious in a video game. I think that's rather narrow minded as there are plenty of other ways to have fun without worrying about statistics.

Currently in D5 , my team :

Toño has 82 goalkeeping skills and a 6 condition, works wonders for me.
Iwandailin and Edson ratinho are just providentiary, while i seek funds for better SBs.
Caldwell and Mareco are very technical both at defending and attacking.
Gattuso is my Midfield enforcer.
The SMFs do 1-2s to get to good shooting positions, with Gomez sometimes making excellent long ranged through balls, and Danny abusing dribbling.
Litmanen is my surprise player, with lots of long range shots.
A. Guise has 80 F.K acc and decent shooting stats, and Jason Roberts nets in a lot of goals, many of those by headers.
I intend to buy Nuri Sahin and Eden Hazard and also good SBs.
What do you think of my team?

went back online on the PS3. managed a cple clean sheet wins and surprisingly a cple opponents played very thoughtful game. it seems like everyone who had ronaldo and messi and arshavin are in d1 (except some really bad players, or maybe they havent come back online yet), so d2 is a good place to b.

Just started my MLO for the first time. Had a 0-0 draw and a 0-2 loss with quite bad lag. I'm noticing how hyperinflated some players are due to being owned by so many teams. Arshavin is around 500% of his base price.

Anyway, does anyone have a list of players who have a higher position rating outside their natural in-game position?

Example:
Wijnaldum AMF 63 ovr has 72 ovr at SMF but only costs the price of a 63 ovr plus inflation.

Can anyone list more to get me started?

ok so playing the regular ML helped me a little bit and i ve gotten more deeper into the gameplay. for starters home and away games make more sense now. as in i finally get why konami gives most of my players during an away game not so great condition arrows. so a little bit of a defensive strategy comes into play in those games. also ive def smoothed up my right stick skills a little; taking on a sb or a cb 1 on 1 is a lot better now instead of doing a 1-2 pass on the edge of the box. in the end i d say its all about patience and the game rewards it. i ve had a 12 game win streak in the last few days but then i lost to some lower division team(i clearly lost my patience). so i m at 541 in d2

that is a very nice team foss
hopefully we ll get to see gameiro at tot or newcastle next season

back in d1. again, playing offline helped me gain even more patience. playing defensively and picking exactly when to attack on the road is paying dividends.
had some special gols with pazzini and marko marin...531!

I switched to a 3-4-3 with 4 CMs and two SS

Much much more fun. It allows me to play possession and rape the middle of the field while maintaining balance.

Up front I have Remy/Gyan Asamoah/Luis Garcia

Emphasis on responsiveness throughout the team.

About 43 games in, won 4, drawn 10 and lost 29 or so. This is so fucking hard for me, bought the game 2 days ago and it's impossible.

Massive respect man, keep going, mlo is very rewarding once you get you team together. u need to look for players with a low rating that have a higher rating in different positions. it helps alot. get a player called Micola- quality attcking right back. Barnes is a good wf!

what format you on??
good luck.

I'm on Xbox, and I'm fed up of buying players that are crap, I guess I can still sell them and try someone else

Holy shit, played 3 games, drew 2, won 1, came back to win 3 - 1 from conceding, I love this game (when I win!)
