The names have changed in every game, but only a little. Can't remember why they said this happens. Castollo is the man tho! Time for a change, as long as they keep him. Although Baorta has been alright for me this yr ;)

Celini (now called Celnili) is the man. he always seems to play above his meagre stats for me. I always keep him for the first 3 or 4 seasons as he is does a job if your first choice need a rest. Vorlander (now Vornander) also ok as he can play at back or as holding player so he is good utility player. Nothing good about Castolo. he sucks along with all of the team.

Why do they just alter the names a wee bit?

my personaly favs of the default player, the ones i keep in the team for as long as possible till i get money, are valerny, stremer(or stromer), cellini and castello

They're all a bunch of losers and I personally can't wait to get shot of them. Unfortunately, PES4 is the hardest one yet to actually replace their sorry arses. I'm in a fourth master league season and I've still got Castello, Ivanov and Huylens. Thanks to the free contract cut down, which I don't mind, you really do have to build your team gradually. In PES3 I had a team of champions most signed for free after the first two seasons, but there's no Abrabayabbadamovich type dealings this time. I think I'd miss them if they changed the default team names though.

Vornander and Celnili are the two players who normally last longest in my squads, though Stremer deserves special mention as I'm sure he has the worst stats and yet he is always really good....
Although Minanda and Castello probably have the best stats, I usually look for replacements for their positions first...I guess you can make up for poor defensive stats by timing your tackles and reading the attacks well, but shooting and passing requires really good stats to be accurate, and of course you want super speedy pace up front too.

I hate Edingson with a passion, balding nob that he is, but Castollo and Ximilez hold special places in my heart (for being left-sided for one) and who could forget Vornander? The one centre back you stat with that is actually capable of defending....ah memories

we do need sum new default players thtas a good idea, im fed up of avanof, but on the first ever pro evo their used to be an italian and hew was called kittie. so it has changed a little
