Seriously the player rating system COMPLETELY SUCKS.

There can be 2 Barca players in top 5 ratings somewhere ... 2 chelsea players , 2 man utd players whatever.....

When YOU get in thet club may it be Barca or Man utd or whatever there won't be ANY of your team's players on top 5 anymore because they always get crap ratings of 5.5 6.0 , try it... I can bet 1.000.000€ that if you go to ANY team doesn't matter which and play 10 or 15 games and onward there won't be any of your team's player on top 5 of ratings in any position .... It just sucks...

Last time I played one of my players even got 2 assists and his rating was 6.0 .... I mean WTF??? What are you supposed to do for a 7.0 score 3 goals?

It annoys the hell out of me... Either make it better KONAMI or put it out , because its a disgrace.

True. sometimes even when I score my player score a hattrick, he will only get something like 7.0, and my other player who did not made an assist or score a goal, get 7.0 as well. Neither is his performance good either (based on passes completed etc.), and what makes you more frustrating sometimes is that, even one of your players score 2 goals and gets like 6.5 or 7.0, the opposition player who score just one goal get 7.5

And the overall ratings for ML as well. My keeper has never got beyond 6.0 before, so does the others get their average rating of like 7.0+.... even when my keeper is saving a lot of shots, he don't get good rating as well.

Probably partly down to the game's scripting? like i mean sometimes when the keeper made a really good save, the commentator will still say something like he should've hold the ball or something like that... maybe they're recognizing that as a mistake rather than a good save?

But it is really something to look into for KONAMI, otherwise i would say they just remove the rating system.. just put the stats like shots on goal, passes etc. for each player

its all about how much of an impact you make on a game like my BAL character can score 1 goal and lose but ill get a 7.5 and be the best player on the pitch because if you play a good team game and link up with the opposition it makes it easier to get a higher rating

and also the AI sucks balls for the comp so they would always get crap ratings as long as you're on the pitch trust me. ive seen a tottenham side that was lucky to come seventh play man u off the pitch and still win so its easier if u only pass when needed to and you'll find that the team should get better ratings and if they dont you would

i did this for tottenham and was 3 time spurs top scorer 2nd in the golden boot for my league countries top scorer in the world cup for my country best player for my country who were semi finalists and i got 4 special skills all by the age of 22

Most times, the rating system on BAL is scripted. I made a match and didn't do that well, compared to others and got a fair rating of 7. Then I re did it, and scored a goal and player really well, and guess what. I got another 7. But that doesn't happen all the time. Most tiems the rating system is underrated. Actually it's underrated the whole time on BAL.

i agree with everything you said mate absloute bollocks ive played a year when my rating was 7.38 for the whole year why am i not in the overal rating system with the likes of van horse face and del piro villa torres all have rating off 7.02 7.08 my rating was 7.38 dammm it my overall rating is 6.89 do i have to get this up to get in the overall rating system its damm hard to get that from 6.0 up till 7.5 say 12 years off playing 5 years in a row i got ratings over 6.89 so wtf im up to 7.0 now and still rating stays low 4 years in a row world player and euro player off the year and players that have retired are still in the rating system what a joke

i went to check the top ratings as i knew id be in there but when i clicked to view the page it wouldnt load!! its like konami couldnt take it i was that good i was so angry i ejected the disc and SNAPPED it over my knee but just my luck 3 days later my knee got infected and now they have amputated my knee

yeahh that happens when you get tired i tend to take a rest when i have inportant run off games comeing up i mange my rest depending on the situation off team and match being played sometimes i need a rest but a big game is beeing played so i take my place on the bench see what happens sometimes i dont even get on the pitch other times i get 15 20 min but in next game my stamina has gone up a bit

my most famous sub was against barca v real madrid
loseing 2 0 with 15 min to go i come on for 34 yer old et'o i bang a hatrick with the last goal 30 yards screaming deep in injury time 3 2 but i was back on bench next game lol 8.0 rating aswell

Don't think so.

Pato always seems to get at least 7.0 when i play as AC milan, even f he doesn't score... maybe because he is my target man and he gets about 5 chances a match, when he scores he gets 7.5

I think you can only check the top rating of every position. The one with 5 best goalkeepers, 5 best defender ........

yhhh i agree with you i have been playing master league for year and i have never managed to get any of my players to that table appart of one wayne rooney who just bangs lots of goals and is top goalscorer in any competitions i choose him to play in. anyways but how on earth can you get such a crap ratings when your players perform well? its true this is something they need to work on as its stupid.

The worst of the ratongs sometimes happens in BAL. You need to play like god to get a 7.5 at least.

I got Chirne top of the midfielders on my ML team (I created an original team under the guise of Skonto Riga and signed him in the first transfer window), I'm playing him as an SS but because his nominal position is SMF he appears in the midfielders. He is top goalscorer and assist-maker in the league mind!

I don't know how it is ever possible to get a decent rating with a defender though!!

I'm starting to think that 8.0 is the best match rating possible to achieve on BAL, I can't remember ever getting more than that.

I used to think I didn't get more than 8.0 because i strayed from my position too much, but lately I've been playing FC and SS and kept to my position unless there's a set piece situation and I get auto-moved.

3 shots, 3 goals, 26 passes (24 recieved) 197 distance dribbled and 1 assist.

10 minute match, rating 8.0


I think that 8.0 is max on PC tbh.
