I've played a few games now where the ref has actually sent the opposing players off for tackles they actually win.

The ref's are pretty accurate with the current level of EL ref's. Their all inconsistent.

The ref's are quite good in my eyes. Some ref's are stricter than others which makes the game quite interesting. I was playing against friend lastnight and one ref we had was red card happy which meant there was more staying on the feet and pushing people instead of the normal kung-fu lunge. The next game we played the ref was quite lenient. I like the fact that the ref changes the style of play and game.

Haha I have found the refs a lot better since the update or maybe it's just me but they are way better than 08. I am getting yellow cards for challenges before would have been a red for sure. But remember tackling from behind is illegal in real life so if you get a straight red and it doesn't look that bad you have to take into fact that is the real rule.

The terrible thing is that you do get whistled against when you get the ball perfectly fairly. :S Can't stand that it's far worse vs the ai I have pretty much given up playing it now.
