Hey does anyone else have this game, i think is great any1 else agree? if any1 has any comments, questions or just general talk about the game post em here

i played it a few months ago, had a bit of an addiction for a few weeks, it wasn't too bad, but it got old pretty quick, and i also hated how you could make your sim 'perfect' really quick, and get right to the top of your career pretty easily, although the friends thing is silly i think

I thought I would bring this thread back since I have now bought it for PS2. It is fucking shit plain and simple, the game would be good if it didn't jump and stop at anytime. Its the most annoying game I think I have ever played on, and I am now comtemplating buying a punchbag and gloves with the refund I will be demanding. If they will only give me a 'newer' game in return I will kick the manager in the balls and hold HMV at ransom until I get my money back. If this fails I will take them all to court for 'stealing' my hard-earned cash.

The game seems to jump every 5-10 seconds, and is consistantly annoying. You can't even go to the toilet and have a piss anymore due to all the irritating people around, they all seem to enjoy pissing you off. Stood in the bathroom having a fucking social gangbang just denying you the chance to drop your trousers and take a piss that is needed.

I will probably come back to this and slag off the game some more, but for now I am going to jump out of my window. Good day.

i played the demo the making the player is better than the other 2 sims games but i don't really like the 3rd person view

They couldn't port everything from the PC version to the PS2 so the game isn't on an equal platform. The PS2 version is dire compared to the PC version from what I've heard so yes, if you've only played it on the PS2 you'll be disappointed and think its quite crap. The AI algorithms were also simplified if what I've read is to be believed.

The xbox version works great. My girlfriend thought the PC version was hard to play so I got her the xbox version and she loves it. Gives me more time to play PES5 on my PC anyways.

You can switch between the normal PC view and the 3d person in the full game.
The "PC View" is like the way the first Sims on consoles was.

Buy from Game and you won't have this problem, as long as the game is in good condition you can return it for a an exchange or full refund within ten days of purchase.

I like it, some new stuff going on, got stuck tryna get that chick to go with the sailor guy on the boat so maxed out on the carears and bought everything, now I aint been on it for about 2 weeks, must go on it in the holidays.

Not everyone has a brand new PC capable of playing a new 4-CD game. PES4 wouldn't work on mine for christs sake and my PC was only about 1 year old at this time.

Read what I said again.
At the time when I bought PES4 it was a year old, now it is probably 2-3 years old.

256MB XFX GeForce 7800GT. Wanted a GTX but I've bought an Asus A8N-SLi Premium board, Athlon 64 3500 processor, 2GB Corsair Select Value PC3200 DDR400 RAM and Sound Blaster Audigy 4 card as well and I'm tight on money (recouping £550 from selling my current items on). I also wanted the Asus A8N32 board, but they keep delaying it and I can't be bothered to wait another month or three.

You've got the equivalent nvidia setup to my ATi, so obviously mine's better
