The State of Pitches

do you find that on some grounds the pitch is great, but on others, graphically, they are really poor and badly done, one pitch im thinking of is the vodacom park stadium (dont know the pes name) the pitch is really jagged and unrealistic, i find it hard to play on those pitch because its really distracting, do you find it annoying?

yeah thats what i was most dissapointed about, but now i just set it to select borussia dortmunds stadium as it's my favourite.

yeah really nice smooth pitch, the fact that it's so light makes all the naff 'join' marks between the turf vanish.

I can't believe that they haven't got some really lush pitches tho, FIFA can't own the rights to striaght edges can they?! Damn you Blatter!!!

Play PES4, then play 3. The pitches on 4 look like comedy blunders. There's only a couple of grounds that actually look half realistic. The colour contrasts/textures/lines whatever look far too artificial.
The thin bright yellow & green lined ploughed field gets me too!
I can't believe as much graphical effort was put into the appearance of the pitches this time around. The general gameplay's better, maybe they just pushed the PS2 as far as it'll go & had to compromise?

what i dont get is games like this could spend a whole year producing them (might not work like that) and they cant make decent pitches AND poor fans. i havent seen a footy game with decent fans (correct me if im wrong!!!)

agreed everytime me and my mate see we are playing a game on the pitch the first thing we say is "Fucking Hell!! Not this fucking pitch again!!!"
it looks like a fucking farmers field you would expect fucking crops to grow there.

LOL, speaking on good pitches though, I only like Anfield (hate to say it bein a manc) and Yokohama National Stadium (Porto Folio) as they are a deep green, look a little longer grass length and are very lush. I hate the Bloomfetein Rugby Stadium or whatever its called!
