OK, goalkeepers need a lot defense training and a bit of stamina.
And about other positions? Middlefields (DM, CM and AM) and strikers (L/RF, SYT and CF)? Until now I don't know exactly what training each position need.
You shouldn't train players solely by position, but by their needs. If you have a CB with low speed and low passing, it makes sense to train him with Passing; if he has low passing and low defensive stats, it is more advisable to train his Defence.
In short I would say that...
- GK: every stat, so train him for the ones they're worse at. Defence will raise all of them, and I don't think dribbling does anything
- CB: passing, physique and defence
- LB: dribbling, speed, and physique. If you prefer old school fullbacks just add Defence in there, and remove dribbling
- DMF and CMF: passing and physique
- AMF and SMF: passing, shooting and dribbling
- WF and SS: speed, dribbling, passing and shooting
- CF: shooting and, depending on the kind of CF you have, dribbling/speed or physique
Now, looking at your player stats, you see which training is more needed to them
