Things you'd like changed for Fifa 11

for me fifa 10 has been great, there is only a few things that still get on my tits though

1 ) The ease you can chip the goalie still. How many times was a keeper chipped in the World Cup over the last month ?

2 ) Loading time when a sub has been made. That annoying shot of the camera panning around stadium. There's no need for it.

3 ) Manager Mode you rarely get your players injured ( i hear in ultimate team players get injured all the time, i wonder why :erm: $$$$ ). I know having all your players is good but isn't really realistic not having at least a few injuries per season. I'm on year 10 in my career and i've yet to encounter one serious injury to one of my players.

4 ) I'd like the option wither i want there to be snow, i know when picking your home stadium it comes up what weather you can get but i hate the really heavy snow games. Tis good fun wyhen one of the teams are in white !

5 ) In manager mode, part exchanges in transfers.

other than that i can't really fault the game. It has been a great buy and if the new game is just an updated version of 2010 then i'll still buy it no problemo ! my second suggestion better happen though !

In Manager Mode, I'd like to see part exchanges in transfers. I'd also like to see the opposition playing their best XI, playing in the correct positions.

1)Better Graphics. WC Game > Fifa 10
2)Get rid of every team AI playing with heavy pressure.
3)AI, no matter what team, can always pass perfectly. Wolves playing like Barcelona etc
4) MM needs to be improved in soo many ways. I think the layout is pish. Players should actually be worth what they are IRL (even if they're overpriced IRL). I think a nice touch would be to create a image of what you want to like as a manager (Instead of that silhouette holding a shirt, this would be cool for when you make a sub in game).
5) I think the AI teams should play like they do IRL. Lower teams playing more defensively against bigger opponents. This should sort out silly things like Chelsea getting relegated lol.
6)Crappy players in clubs (short goalies etc)
7) Stupid 2 billion debt in MM.
8) Job offers in MM, bigger teams come in to snatch you up from a lower team if your doing good.
9) When you sign a player in MM they should have a favourite number and the number they get if that number is taken is close to their favourite number. When you sign a player they always get number 2!

My main gripes are with MM as it was such a let down!

All the stuff I wasn't too happy with on FIFA 10 EA are sticking in for 1 which is good, it's shaping up to be a real stunner.

Couldn't you have just posted this in the FIFA 11 thread anyway, Mullet?

Ea saying they're going to do something and actually doing it are completely different things.

When I put my shitty players out on loan, I'd like realistic teams trying to take them, I really don't think Manchester United want to Ryan Noble from Sunderland on loan for a season when he's rated at 65. There's never any reasonable teams, and they hardly get a game at the team they eventually go to because of this, resulting in no xp gained, defeating the point of loaning players out

Also, half season loans would be a welcome addition, and I dunno if this is already in (I haven't had to use it), but the ability to recall players you have loaned out would be good if you have an injury crisis. The real premier league rules about this (remember Joe Hart not going back to Man City due to some gained advantage) could not be applied I suppose, but realistically, you're not going to loan out Rooney when you're man u?

Original?

I have no issue with this thread, in fact, I think it's preferable to distinguish this discussion from genuine news about the new game and therefore it warrants a separate thread.

In addition, it's certainly more productive than his last thread in this section, if less likely to cause such a fuss.

Definitely! Also, they seem to give you one tall and one short centre back, which is a nightmare when coming up against the majority of opposing attackers. You get defenders rated around 33 sometimes too which makes it even harder.

- Faster way to transfer players from club-to-club. I really hate the idea of having to quit to the main menu if you want to transfer another player from club X to club Y, when the previous transfer you made was from club A to club B. In short, I'd prefer if they implement PES style. Simpler, and faster.

- Secondary kit for goalkeepers. I don't mind if they use a generic kit for their change kit.

Also it would be nice to mix and match kits. Like change sort and sock colour so it doesnt clash. For example the United kit with black shorts and black socks. Would make european games in MM feel alot better.

Also i would like badges to change as a team is promoted/demoted from a certain league. Some people say they cant do this, textures blah blah but they managed to do it in WC 2010. The badge on the kit changes from the friendlies badge to the finals badge.

Are we sure that they actually changed the badge or if they changed the whole kit though? If it works like PES modding, then I suspect that there are actually about 3 sets of kits for each team with the corresponding badges depending where they are in the tournament, as opposed to a simple overlay

Goalmouth scrambles need to be fixed, some system has to be in place so that when you're mashing B at every little deflection it actually does something instead of fail to react. Too many times my defender will fail to clear or my striker will fail to shoot.

They also have to fix something which I'm hating right now, the amount of times a shit team will score a perfect free kick from ridiculous distances, or really close with ridiculous curls. It happens too many times for it to be a wrong turn of luck.

Agreed on the second part. The accuracy of the CPU's free-kicks - even with rubbish teams - is ridiculous. I don't have a problem with goalmouth scrambles though as they're obviously gonna be hard to defend or score from due to their unorganised nature.

I know what you mean, I just feel that more players tend to not do a thing, whereas in real life you see legs swinging everywhere at least. The CPU tend to react and do something about it faster than the player can. It's like the moment of opportunity you have to press B in is so small that it never registers, and as said, the CPU get this spot on

Yeah, the computer free-kicks are ridiculous.

One small thing, which isn't really a big deal, but one of the achievements for Xbox is fucked. It says to get 100 online wins and I've got 120+ yet no achievement. I've been told this is because people backed out and they don't count but that's fucking stupid.

I remember getting my 100th victory and waitiing for the achievement to appear, but nothing. I didn't bother looking it up and after time I forgot about it. I think after my 140 something win the achievement was finally awarded which then I guessed it was probably related to players I actually beat in 90, 120 or penalties rather than the ones who quit as soon as you go 3 or 4-0 up. This could be in the first half or even just 5 minutes to go which kind of pissed me off considering most people quit against me when I am about to win.

thenotsogood, I also agree with both of your points. It feels you are second best to the CPU in 50/50 situations, particularly near the goal. It isn't as bad anywhere on the pitch when you are just pressing the pass button, but within shooting distance it seems the CPU will always get a late touch on the ball just as your player is about to shoot. Very aggrevating. I've also had it near the opponents goal when I have passed to a player and I press the shoot button for a first time shot. Unfortunately, a time when I can shoot without being closed down is usually when my player will decide it is better to take a touch first and ignore my instruction of shooting first time. By the time he has taken his touch and begins to shoot as instructed, it has given the defender more than enough time to deal with the attempt on goal.
