There are Three major announcement for Pes 2009 and most people have been eager to hear about them.

1) For all those Pro lovers who can't to get the new pro and are eager to know the release date, then your wait is over.

Here are the following release dates:
October 17, 2008 - EU ( September 30 UK - according to IGN, this seems to be too soon to be real )
December 31, 2008 - Australia
September 30, 2008 - Japon
November 18, 2008 - USA ( November 11 according to Gamespot )

2) Also the one everybody has been waiting for....

Which teams are going to be licensed in the new installment of Pes 2009.

They are the following:
EPL

Only two teams from the English England League are licensed (Liverpool FC and Manchester United)but all teams include real player names.

La Liga

The La Liga isn't licensed this year for the first time, but don't fear, all the teams will be licensed. It just won't have the "La Liga" symbol on the league selection menu because of a change in sponsor or something with the Spanish league.

SERIE A

Finally proper classic teams. Who's gonna b on classic portugal apart from Eusabio?

Luis Enrique... erm... Pauleta??? I don't think a Classic Portugal is a great idea, I think a Classic Europe side (featuring the best of the rest of Europe), Classic Americas, etc would be better.

For everyone who has wondered where this info has come from, i can confirm that is isn't from wikipedia but it is from Gaming Access, which get all there info from major gaming websites e.g. Gamespot and IGN.

I hope that has answered everyone's inquiry.

I get paid on the 5th of this month so ill end up having no bloody money if it comes out on the 30th. I cant see how we'll be getting it 2 and a half weeks befor france etc. There's no way they'd do that

This is no new news, it's all been said before, and just because the OP say it's official it doesn't make it, no link, no sites, the release date the OP got them from IGN, they change the day almost every week.
