Since you are saying that San Andreas is a reason why ps2 is better, how does that exactly make you any different than those people you accuse of buying Xbox just because of PES4 LIVE.
As a matter a fact, San Andreas has such a slowdown that it makes game almost unplayable. It is worse than in WE8. It is only a "beta" version, but it won't be removed completely.
And yes, it will come out on Xbox as well, but without the slowdown in early 2005.

For dvd "rubishness", I (as well as many other people) don't see a point of using my console for watching DVDs. Sony was a cheaparse and haven't even put DVD region free. Who uses locked dvd player these days when DVD region free ones are cheap as???

Which one, you know, there are so many great games exclusive only to Xbox that it makes really hard to pick just one. I'll name you few: Ninja Gaiden, Top Spin, PGR2, Rallisport 2, Forza Motorsport, Fable, Halo2, Chronicles of Riddick, etc. etc. etc.

Sony can't make even their exclusives right, and put them online, like GT4. It's embarassing what Sony does.

The truth is, people own/owned PS2 just because of PES/WE. Now people own Xbox because of PES4 and many many other games.

Since I have always been a "Nintendo fanboy" I can approach this argument slightly neutral.....
First of all Johnny, learn to type in English. I don't think it would matter what your opinion was, I think I would disagree with it on the basis that reading your posts is such a chore.
Anyway, I resisted buying a PS2 and an Xbox all this time. The only thing that tempted me about the PS2 was Pro Evo, but I always end up annoyed when ever I play on a PS2, and the joypads aren't good, they just have the double shoulder buttons that PES is designed for. The xbox never had a game (or a price) that i felt justified buying one, until PES4 with Live play. PES4 won't be the only game I'll get for my Xbox (which I'm getting for Christmas, so still have to wait for PES4), but it is such a good game that it can change my thought from 'don't want a console enough to buy it' to 'now it's worth getting one'.

Definately Vonson. I must admit my main reason for getting an Xbox was for pes4 and playing it on live. But my xbox came bundled with burnout 3 and it made me think, well there are certainly somre good games out there. I have played burnout 3 on ps2 as well and it was crap!! poor graphics, framerate, jerkyness, bit of slowdown..just overall a crap experience. Boot it up on my xbox and you get a smoothness never seen on a ps2. You get slick crisp graphics and total support for online play. I will definately be getting more games, and looking forward to gaming with X-box. As for my ps2 well I'll hang on to it, cos of games like GT4, but there arent many others that wont be out on xbox as well.

So in the end, i've realised what a shitty job Sony have done, and the setup just sparks of cheapness, from the componants used etc and piss poor servers for their network play. They know its crap but they wont admit to it.

Burnout 3 = better on Xbox
Def Jam Fight for NewYork = better on xbox
Star Wars Battlegrounds = better on xbox
GTA Vice City and GTA3 = better on xbox
PES4 = gonna be better on xbox (better graphics, online, smoother gameplay etc)


Also one of the best RPG's ever made is ONLY on the xbox, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Also KOTOR 2 is coming out soon enough leaving PS2 without another quality title.

Halo 2 = one of the biggest games is years and years and a quality designed game = xbox only.

Then you can look at cost.... Xbox = harddrive therefore no need for memory cards saving xbox users £20 a time on an official memory card. It also means that a person can have endless amounts of master league saves without having to worry about running out of storage space.

Also people who bitch about controllers.... you can get a 3rd party control pad that is practically identical to the ps2's if your that bothered but the Controller S is ALOT smaller and alot more comfortable than the old xbox control pads.


I own both a PS2 and an Xbox. If I want a game and it is out on both consoles I always buy it on the xbox because:

a) I don't need to waste PS2 memory card space
b) the graphics and smoothness of the game is always better on xbox
c) xbox live is so much better than PS2's online gaming (i know becaus I have both)

and so on and so on.

People whop bitch about other consoles always do it because they don t have one and they have to persuade themselves that they are not missing out when they clearly are!

Since I bought an Xbox about last year time (£70 with 2 games 2nd hand) my PS2 hasn't had a look in, it's games are superior (e.g. Fable) and has a hard disk. Only since PES4 came out have I played my PS2 and when I get GTA:SA. Also the Xbox's small controller is so much more comfortable to use instead of that poxy tiny little PS2 pad, it's criminal.

I don't know what you ppl all are crying about. You're fighting about what the better console is...I don't give a crap!! As long as the games on it rock!!

Every console has its better games. PS2 owns because of the option to play your old PS1 games on it (I am a RPG-fan so I own quite some PS1 RPG's). GTA: SA will be a great game, FFX was a great game, and so was Breath of Fire 4, Gran Turismo 3 rocks and 4 will rock too. (I don't care if its not playable online, cause its made for single player anyway 200+ hours at least (for me)) And PES of course.

Well Xbox have some great titles too. Fable is great, Halo was fun, Halo 2 will be awesome, Ninja Gaiden...brilliant and PES 4 on Xbox live is a piece of Walhalla. Though for online play on Xbox is better...you do have to pay to be on the network though...that should be said too.

Well and the Cube....hmmm nevermind the cube few games are fun but won't mention those

Well I can say I am pretty fortunate to own all these consoles. And if there will be a game I'm interested in I'll buy it...Each console have their own specialties...so don't fight...play them and keep your anti-opinions for yourself...

Top Spin Tennis (tennis )
Outrun 2 (racing)
Project Gotham Racing 2 (racing)
James Bond Everything Or Nothing (action adventure- a James Bond game other than Goldeneye that is good shock horror)

Sorry for quite an extensive list but i have tried to put them into rank order from my opinion.
Other games that are highly anticipated or highly rated (but i do not have) include Dead Or Alive:Ultimate, Star Wars:Battlefront, Need for Speed Underground 2, Men Of Valor, Doom 3 (set for March 05) and of course Halo 2!

Yeah i think its very enjoyable. While it is not at all realistic, it is not a simulation so it shouldn't really be expected and im sure anyone who enjoyed the original Outrun will like this. As an arcade racer goes its excellent IMO, Burnout 3 is the only racing game that betters it.

I assume you don't mean the standard xbox controller? Got any pics of the smaller one? I much prefer the PS2 pad and intend to use it for all my xbox and pc games too. My xbox has been used twice since August and is sitting there waiting for me to get xbox live and pes4: its reason to live!
