i might have to buy some more online game i thought i had more then that
but come christmas time everything should be

cool, well my first game to get for xbox live will be PES4 understandably and hopefully then Top Spin and Burnout 3, followed by ESPN NBA 2K5, Halo 2 & Counter Strike.

p.s talking this morning about the option of getting xbox live and possibly a couple of xboxlive compatible games for Christmas with my mum, i also want a larger tv for my room so theres a fair chance i will be getting xbox live before xmas, if i can find some way to get a few shillings back in my wallet im well & truly broke at the moment after the amount of money ive spent on dvds and albums recently. I need to do quite a bit of research into where my connection would be etc. But anyway as soon as i get it, ill give you a shout (with Top Spin in my hands and PES4 ) , hopefully before xmas but if not, it won't be too long to wait . May just need to take up the offer to work in 'NEXT' for xmas salestime to earn a bit of cash Damn i hate that job

I assume you don't mean the standard xbox controller? Got any pics of the smaller one? I much prefer the PS2 pad and intend to use it for all my xbox and pc games too. My xbox has been used twice since August and is sitting there waiting for me to get xbox live and pes4: its reason to live!

I don't like the PS2 pad that much, but using anything else for PES feels alien. I do suggest you get Fable, one of the best games I've played (right up there with Tetris and Wario Land), and Psi-Ops too that's a top game and makes a good stress reliever throwing people into rails and pipes and watching their limbs flop about is sadisticly satisfying.

Games I recommend:

Fable (I will pimp this game out until everyone on this board has an Xbox and Fable)
Theif Deadly Shadows
Full Spectrum Warrior
Beyond Good and Evil
Max Payne 2
Fight Night 2004
Chronicles of Riddick
Project Gotham 2
Spider-Man 2 (you can steal kids balloons!)
Star Wars Battlefront
Psi Ops
Driv3r (despite all the glitches it is a fun game...especially the Forklift)
Star Wars: Jedi Academy
XIII
Silent Hill 4: The Room
Project Zero
GTA Double Pack (finer graphics, better controls and custom soundtracks)
Halo (only for multiplayer, single player is poor)

Games to stay away from:

Ninja Gaiden (harder than a priest in a playground)
Second Sight
Top Spin Tennis

Top Spin and Ninja Gaiden are two of the best games on the Xbox. Ninja Gaiden is a masterpiece and will forever remain in gaming history. so many people bash the game coz its too "hard" wen in reality it isnt, the people just dont know how to play the game

top spin is in fact virtua tennis 3.... and we al know virtua tennis is the king of tennis games.. xbox is a waste fo money getting it just 2 play pro evo 4. i need more than that 2 go wasting doh on it ya get me... halo 2 is not online btw hahahaha

just shows how much you know. Top Spin is now the best tennis game ever made and Halo 2 not online????? bwahahahaha. you have no idea. Online is one of the most important thing for Halo 2 and its there. Online co-op isnt there but everything else online is still there

Gamespot have got it spot on. there were rumours of online co-op but Bungie recently said it wont be there and then this "smartguy" thinks it means online has been totally scrapped
