they should also make referees fairer, but most of all the master league needs expanding to have propper leagues, i think the ML as it is now is a bit dated tbh, i mean they dont have to have real names for all teams, just have it like This is Football seires used to do.

Basically what we all want if we're honest is pes gameplay in a fifa game lol. if that ever happened i dont think id ever go out again

Don't care much about the license. I would like to see a online option where you can buy/sell players. For instance if i have trained a self-made player I can sell to anyone around the world, but they have to make it difficult to gain experience. Also when you are not playing allot, or get injury's experiences go down.

Creating your own team and training them everyday. Like a real coach and use that same team to play against others on internet. Cause lot;s of people tend to play allot aka addicts. They should get more advantage because of their time and effort they put into the game

1. lots more and different sized stadiums - not every stadium has to be 65,000 capacity
2. realistic and adjustable budgets for every club in master league
3. master league replaced with real leagues, including lower leagues of all major european countries: england, germany, france, scotland, italy, spain, portugal, holland, belgium, denmark, sweden, norway etc. infinite number of seasons as before, propper sized champions league, uefa cup etc.
4. south american expansion pack: same as with europe but with south american teams and leagues
5. peter brackley and david pleat commentary
6. pes 5/6 edit mode - pes 2008 edit mode is just dog dirt
7. shirt sponsors in game to choose from, they already are on the adboards, sure it wud be easy to get mansion, toyota, and a load of others.
8. computer AI to be more passing, less dribbling, more realistic AI defenders, less superhuman, better positioning and movement for all players
9. all kits fully editable
10. realistic injuries, injury lengths, fatigue etc for master league

what do you guys think?

1 or 2 of your points i agree with but some are just wrong lol get rid of master league?? you mad thats what made pro awesome.....i would like to see the CL chaps dooing the commo..... the shirts would be hard cus they would cost money...

good thread

hello from portugal.

1.) ever start a game and noticed that by mistake you selected kits more or less the same colour as your opponent? this happened to me, and if it were possible to change kits while you prep your formations, tc., would be apreciated.

2.) how come when there's a big lob to the keepers area, the forward never has a chance to challenge the keeper by heading the ball. in other words, the keeper always jumps and always catches the ball.

i'l try to think of more.

cheers

This is realistic. Imagine a goalkeeper and a striker who are exactly the same height challenging for a ball. The goalkeeper should win every time because he has the added length of his arms. The striker must wait for the ball to drop to head height.

ye but the strikers never get a good ball, its impossible to score a through ball goal coz the defender always some how gets the ball, no matter wat

Never noticed this myself, just the fact when defending you have almost no chance at all of breaking up a computers attack. Especially when every AI player can dribble like Maradona.

BELIEVE
They can't really do some of those improvements though, simply because they're not possible, no matter what platform they're on. EA own the rights to most licenses, so I wouldn't expect to see any top leagues like the Premier League licensed on PES for many years. Another reason most cups won't be licensed for a very long time.

I don't think Konami want to become FIFA either so will avoid implementing 100 tricks or whatever, they'll probably only include about 6 or 7 brand new tricks, which I think is a positive thing.

For the Master League mode, it's already "long years" I believe, I think it's never ending in fact. However making it a "Manager Mode" could be a mistake too, they should maybe involve more tactics and detail into what you're doing with your team etc. However with FIFA's version, don't you have to do ticket prices and all that shit, something a Manager never does ?

PS: You can change the camera angle to whatever you like really when you press Start.

Remember how the intro CG in the previous PES series be like? I was wondering when can we get that kind of graphic quality and gameplay? The pace looks perfect, with the lifelike animation.

Heres the link to the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqxCiraAWMw&feature=related

would be great if Konami can pull off such thing.

Yea that intro scene was the bollox. Probably the best PES has constructed. would be great if that was the actual gameplay. I don't see why it can't now to be honest, with the upgrade to next Gen and all.

The shot from 30-35 yards that flies into the top corner is awesome. gave me goose bumps just watching it. Would be great if Konami could provide us with a game that allowed us to score goals that looked like that. Licenses or no licences I'd be well chuffed.

Agreed. I dont care bout the licenses if they can do the exact thing as in the CG. The supporters itself gave me goosebumps. I hope they can include Euphoria engine in PES2009 and fix the pace. I miss the dribbling animation in PES6, pes2008 dribbling animation when running seems like a cat stepping on water, just toe to the ground.

Yea, The atmosphere on the stands was defernately buzzing. The fans in PES2008 look like fuzzy cardboard cut-outs. Well apart from the cut scenes of the fans at half time etc. But during gameplay there a joke.

I take in what Seabass was saying in regards to the timescale they had and converting the game to next gen was the main focus. But I don't think he has got the comfort of that type of excuse this year. End of the day, I will stick with PES cos I am a hardcore fan, but most of the people moaning on these forums seem to have turned there back cos of 1 dodgey game. What people seem to be forgettin is there were at least 5-6 games prior to PES2008 that were the bollox. Must be difficult to live up to expectations when you have neared perfection.

I still enjoyed playin this years game up until the last couple of months. But thats possibly cos the new game has taken my attention some what. I just can't wait to hear more news. I don't think I can take 3-4 more months of this.

PES2008 was okay in my opinion, though dissappointment in terms of content. I guess I'll stick with PES too bcoz everytime I look at FIFA, eventhough many said they improved, it always feel that the ball and the players are not independent, it always feel predetermined. Ball physics too strange, movement of players doesnt stick to ground. Just doesnt cut it.

i will never leave PES,
totally agree with DM86, all these people are leaving PES because of 1 game that turned out lower than the previous 1.
And i have taken into consideration that SEABASS had very little time to get used to the Next gen but i guess he will have mastered this by now
