Types of Shooting?

A friend and myself have been playing the 360 demo 2 for a while now, we are loving it but are finding beating a keeper one on one or long shots hard, the ball seems to go straight to the keeper, and we cant seem to get any curl on it.

So i popped on here went throu the pes12 discussion thread, some one has asked and they didnt get a reply, i also searched on google and found a video clip saying u need to press R2 [ps3] which would be RT on 360, but other user comments suggest this video was from demo 1 and the RT placement shot was taken out for demo 2, he also stated theres 3 types of shot.

A] just shoot, B] RT pressed before actually kicking the ball, and C] pressing RT after kicking the ball

so:

1] is the R2/RT shoot in the full version of the game? [or demo 2 for that matter]

2] if its not, how do you curl balls like PES11?

Any other shooting tips would be great help, esp as hes over for a PES 12 demo session tonight :)

Thanks
Phil

Yes, RT is in the game. Press it as or after you've filled up the shooting bar, so a quick tap. It'll depend where you use it and what angle however, it's very sensetive and needs practice. If you get it at the right angle in space, it can leave the keeper in no mans land, a simple tap of power and then RT from just outside the box and it can curl it just into the bottom corner if you're at the right angle (I.E if you've just cut in from the right with a right footer).

Small amount of power and then a quick tap of RT just as the keeper is approaching one on one can be lethal, you'll often manage to just put it over the on rushing keeper who will dive to the floor.

Other simple tips for one on ones is be patient. Don't rush and don't ever panic, panicking is the downfall in one on ones. Try different things, be unpredictable. Sometimes do the fake shot round the keeper. Sometimes a simple shot into the corner. Sometimes a chip. Often an RT shot.

Long shots all depends on the player and the timing. It's hard to explain with the timing, if you're in space, timing is the key. A slight knock ahead and just as you're running on and the ball is about to touch your foot again, bang! Usually gives you a lovely power drive, tough to explain in words really. Angles and timing are a massive part of shooting and I feel some people don't realize that at times, practice makes perfect, the minute to pull off one of these long range power strikes, you'll begin to know when and where to attempt them more often. As I said too, depends on players. If you attempt a long drive with say Hutton, it might not be effective and may be weak. However, if you use Huddlestone, he's amazingly effective with long shots, space and timing again.

Not sure if that helps man, just keep practicing, you'll get there in the end, Try different things from different angles, try to find space etc. Hope it goes well man.

Someone please tell me how to execute a clipped/dinked lob. I always execute these by mistake and I can't get the timing right when I try for love nor money *argh!*
