W.E.N.B. Option File PS3 Released! (BLES-20)

Cheers mate - i only had the first Konami official update, i didnt realise there was a 2nd one available - i will download Konami's 2nd one now, (having successfully worked WENB's Option file 1 and 2) and then once i've downloaded Konami's 2nd update, i will copy across WENB's option file 3.

If WENB's option file 3 only works once Konami's 2nd update has been downloaded, then this will explain why WENB's option file 3 hasnt worked for me.

Right, i downloaded the 2nd Konami update and then just copied over the edit file from WENB's option file 3, and all the 'PES league' teams are now german teams I didnt copy the kits or stadium data yet, as i just wanted to see if the process was going to work - and it has done.

Just have the longwinded task of copying all the stadium and kit files over now!

And to Rainey and all the others who work on the OFs, massive gratitude guys, you efforts really make the game what it is, compared to the unlicensed version that Konami release.

you may not have to do this now as I only uploaded the OF today & had been playing it since release & clocked a few trophies up, deleted all my edit data & saved data before installing the OF & after I'd updated everything me trophies were still there , tho all above did happen last year & is a great workaround if ya not as jammy as I've been!

Yer the trophies youve already got remain but you may not gain anymore, dare you try it without what i posted?

Just played a few games tonight vinnie & good news was gained another trophy so will work ok, plus I had deleted all previous installs & then reloaded OF & still added trophy so looks like its better than all the faffin we had to do last year :lol:

Hi marty I really hope you can help me I have tried to follow all the instructions and have done exactlt what you have said. But for some reason I still have no Bundesliga or Stadiums on!! If I look in the photo section on the Ps3 hard drive I have the logo of Bundesliga and loads of stadium parts but for some reason they do not load up on to the game. Please help me if you can?

well i dont know why stadium parts and bundesliga logo is showing on the photo section on the ps3, did you copy all save files to save data on ps3, or did you copy some files onto the photo section ?

all i can say for now is that all files should be copied to the ps3 game save data section, making sure you have already done the konami updates and have the latest v3 edit data file saved into the pes 2011 game save data section

i assume your online with your ps3? if so read on....

load up pes 2011, go to the update section just scroll right on the menu and it should be somewhere near the end, once in the menu it should show you current available updates, just download and install them in game, once thats done done turn off pes 2011, go back to your save data on ps3 menu then just copy all files across inc the v3 edit data file can i ask if you already have versions 1 and 2 installed on pes 2011 ?

i have a feeling that when you load up pes 2011 you will get a notification message from konami that updates are available to download so look out for that

Thanks for that marty, when I try to install v3 the edit data reads 08/10/10 is this correct, shouldn't it be the 18/10/10?

on your PC if you actually go into BLES01020EEDIT FOLDER ON EACH OF THE UPDATE VERSIONS THEY SHOULD READ AS PER BELOW

v1 DATE - 07/10/10 23:53

V2 DATE - 08/10/10 21:43

v3 DATE - 18/10/10 23:36

so version 3 edit data is the one dated 18/10/10

so delete your current edit data, then copy over new edit data V3 which comes from the folder dated 18/10/10

Many thanks for your help marty I have checked the dates and those are the one I have. When I save to my USB do I just save it to E destination or do I have to open up E and extract into the PS3 folder of E?

I have just checked and it appears I have v1 and v2 if this has the likes of Denmark's kit from Markietc on it.

now go to your wenb folders you downloaded, inside each wenb version you should see a folder called SAVEDATA,

ok, just drag the SAVEDATA folder into the PS3 folder you created

once files have copied over to your usb your ready to plug usb into ps3 and start coping the files one by one to your ps3

thanks again Marty it appears that all the v3 is saved in my photo section on PS3 hard drive should I delete all this fro there and start again. Would this be why it is not showing in the Saved Data Utility section?

For anyone still having problems i will try and explain the method i took as simple as possible

V1 released, simply copied all save files onto ps3, deleted old edit data file, and copied over the new V1 edit data file

V2 released, simply copied over the new additional save files onto ps3, deleted old v1 edit data file, then copied over the new V2 edit data file

V3 released, again copied over the new additional save files onto ps3, deleted old v2 edit data file, then copied over the new V3 edit data file

Job done

Not sure if this helps but will post as a reference guide for you, and for the record there has been 2 updates from konami since V1 option file was released, the 2nd update gave you the offical Ireland kit

V1 - UNIFORMS 001 - 081 (PLUS LEAGUE EMBLEMS ETC..)

(then came 1st konami update)

V2 - UNIFORMS 082 - 156 (INTERNATIONAL KITS UPDATE)

(then came 2nd konami update with Ireland kit updated)

V3 - UNIFORMS 157 - 203 (BUNDASLEAGUE + STADIUM DATA)

just try and follow my method above and you should be ok, if you already have v1 and v2 then you only need to transfer v3 files

I have just downloaded v3 from the link and and it clearly says 08/10 for some reason but I don't know how I managed to save it all in the photo section, I am just deleting all dated 18/10 from the photo section.

I can assure you I am serious mate and really appreciate all your help.

Yo Marty: Yes I have v1 and v2. If those are the ones on the first page along with the v3 (Bundesliga).

The thing I did was:

1. copied over v1 (it worked. all epl kits updated and cup logos etc)

2. copied over v2 and deleted v1 edit file (worked again. Latin American nations kits updated etc)

3. copied over v3 and deleted v2 edit file. When I start PES up it goes to 'loading edit' and then suddenly a message appears whit the words many have described here. That I have data from a different source or something and must upload new available data etc.

So I guess what you say about the konami updates make sense.
