W.E.N.B. Option File PS3 Released! (BLES-20)

Hello Marty, thanks so much for that. We've needed some kind of succinct summing up of what's actually in these files, maybe this should go on the front page too Rainey.

Just finally, I take it by what you've posted that none of these versions of the file actually correct fake player names then?

Can someone please answer this as if it is the case then I'll just download V3 and change the player names myself, that's all I want done really.

Hello everybody! First of all thanks a lot for the work of the authors of the OF.

I have a doubt: I acquired the game today. How should I proceed: install the Konami Updates then copy v1, V2 and V3 (and use the edit file of V3) or first copy all files from V1, V2 and V3 and then do the Konami Updates?

here is my file i have uploaded to rapidshare, its v3 and it works fine on my ps3

if you use the edit data save from this file then you should be fine, this is assuming you have already updated to versions 1 & 2

so once you have extracted the rar file just copy over the SAVEDATA folder into the PS3 folder on your usb stick, once files have copied over to usb then put your usb into ps3 and copy all files over to save game section on the ps3

Just that I saw that a V3 was put up and then removed, in favour of an uber OF to come shortly

I've already done 1 and 2, so would be more than happy with just adding this one to get Bundesliga and stadiums, whatever miniscule errors were on it I can live with as they are such a good job overall!

V1 and V2 did, and V3 as far as I'm aware is adding Bundesliga and extra stadiums, so no reason why you'd still get fake names I don't think

Fantastic, so fake player names were fixed as early as V1 and V2? I could've sworn I'd read otherwise, but that's great news if true.

From what I know v3 is still incomplete, I read further back that there are still some fake player names, when they are sorted rainey will release a completed v3 as well as a full option file for people who have not updated anything yet.

Now I'm hearing that fake names have been updated so not sure what's going on at the moment,

This is what I really need to be confirmed before I go ahead and delete my current option file to install this. Are there still fake player names in the file and if there are, are these the only things that have not been done on the V3 file minus the small errors with Bundesliga etc?

I never knew you could move Bayern and Werder into the Bundesliga and never thought you would have the full League done so quick. Amazing, great work.

No the 6 classic teams and 34 National teams USA, Serbia, Ukraine, Wales, Sovakia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Tunisia, Honduras, Canada, Togo, Senegal. Nigeria, Morocco, Mali, Guinea, Angola, Algeria, Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Bahrain, China, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Thailand, UAE and Uzbekistan.

So 40 teams of 21 players = 840 players but I think about atleast 80 of the players are in the game probably more so it's probably closer to 750 players.

The Bundesliga is fully done.

Unfortunately I intend to take this OF and edit it further so it's not just a case of carying on until the next update comes.

In terms of fake names, it would be great if you could have a look Marty. However, I would guess the Bundesliga would be the most accurate as it has been made from scratch.

Finally, AFAIK Rainey is no longer working on the newest file (V4?) and the work has been passed on with an estimated finish time of another week. If I could get cracking with my editing eariler than that then I'd be a lot happier.

Put version 2 on, load game and do konami updates and install them, turn off game, add v3 files and v3 edit data load up game and everything should be ok.

If you have already done the updates then I suggest to try adding all v2 and v3 files, then using the v3 edit data file, see if that works but I'm can't be sure it will

That's the gist of what I'm trying to find out. If the final outcome of this OF is just adding fake player names then I'm quite happy to download V3 and do that myself.

However, if there is a lot of other stuff to be added that is going to be important then it may be worth waiting.

So is it just fake player names to come?

All kits (club and country) done.
All emblems (club and league) done.
Bundesliga done.

Anything else I'm missing?
