We should have the option to pull back an opposition player at will

Obviously we see the odd bit of shirt pulling in the game already, but its the computer that does it for us automatically and nothing comes from it.

In the real life game, we see countless yellow cards given to players for tugging an opposition player back if they are about to get into a dangerous position.

Being able to stop an attack at the cost of a yellow card is the option every single player in the real world has, why can't this be introduced into Pes and fifa ? especially Pes, as they lack more in the little things department.

Pulling back someone who was going to be 1on1 would result in a red. I think the tug option is better aswel because sometimes your attacker can get injured if he is hacked down from behind. The striker won't get injured from getting pulled back

Yay or nay for the shirt tugging being introduced ?

I think it's a good idea.

They already have the ability to dive, so why not shirt pulling? Also, perhaps the players with high aggression, when defending corners and free-kicks could pull strikers shirts automatically as this happens at every set-piece in real life and would add another element of realism.

Would the graphics be able to support free-flowing shirts though?

I don't know about now, but in PES2009, if you dived at the right time, you could have got a free kick or penalty and the opposition could have got a yellow or red card (if the last man).

But yeah, I'd agree that being able to control it would a good addition.
