... once again. Konami is so disappointing when it comes to PES. THIS UPDATE TODAY IS A JOKE! I don't need fu%$in boots, I wanted player updates! I wanted Wilshere, Nuri Sahin to be my midfield aces just what they are in reallife. Another time we are fooled by Konami, really... Two months for moving some few players around what modders get done in one day + creating faces, setting the according types of movement animations and celebrations for those players. It's just embarassing and a shame for these Japsos. Come on, nobody wants to tell me he wants new boots more than rightly represented players ingame...

UPDATING STATS would have prolonged the life of this game and given it a fresh touch since the last update until probably the next installment. If they were clever, they would set a general standard in programming all player stats which could then survive over several installments of the game by just flagging unsupported attributes as just that. But no: PES 2012 will probably be even bigger scripted bullshit with then updated rosters, kits... and boots. I can see it already coming... Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and the rest is KONAMI...

And for all the super clever guys coming now and saying we weren't promised a stats update: That was one of the main things requested by many people. Don't think so? Why did so many people buy Carroll, Wilshere and all these players deserving an update then? Yes, because they thought the same... KONAMI definitely gives a fuck about us.

Just a quick question, where did you download the March 2011 update? I can't find it anywhere, the most recent update is December 2010.

If you have successfully downloaded March 2011, then you probably should have Cicinho at Villarreal, Rakitic at Sevilla etc? Can you confirm please?

I use PC and just got the msg on start of the game to go to extra content and download it. All quite hassleless...

The spanish teams seem to be updated...

Kagawa I can't find in MLO and just checked in exhibition mode: Not there...

Not sure how you were fooled, the press release on Konami's own site on the 8th of March was:

KONAMI today revealed the content of its latest free DLC pack for Pro Evolution Soccer 2011. The update will be available to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD users on March 15th, and updates a number of elements to the full game. Winter transfers and movements up to the end of the January transfer window have been updated for 135 Club teams, while Spain's new kit, and the Swedish national team's away kit, have been added. Additionally, 10 new boot styles from adidas, NIKE, PUMA and Umbro have also been added.

I see no mention of stats changes, something Konami have never really done.

This is the reason site's like this exist, so that the humble user can access great OF's created by people that Konami should be personally thanking for helping do the hard work & keep PES's fanbase alive.

ugh I know I mean every time I play as Madrid online (god knows I'm the only one) I just cant cope with the low stats of all the players. I demand everyone on Madrid to be at least a 99 or Im not playing this game anymore.

LOL, yeah, requesting über-teams to get improved is a little too much asked... especially since those players from Real mentioned are already very good. I wouldn't exchange Özil for anything. Just sold Ronaldinho though he's out of the game now... His stats were just too good for me... *g*

I bought about 10 players who I fully expected to get updated stats, and woke up at 3AM today to try to see which ones to keep and which ones to sell... It was like Xmas morning with nothing under the tree! :crymore:

But, to be honest, although I'm surprised, I'm not gutted. I was, in a way, trying to make cash, which is sort of cheating in a way. It was a fun experience though, and I suggest Konami could actually implement something like this into next year's MLO properly. It adds something and connects the game with real life (if they actually update stats I mean).

Anyway, in hindsight I wouldn't change a thing. I took a risk, lost a bit of money, but in the end I have already pretty much put my squad back to what they were before I started replacing the likes of Rosina with Wilshere and Adams, Solano with Sahin, etc. In the end it was worth the risk because I would be more gutted if I hadn't taken that risk and end up missing out on a chane to really improve my squad. It was fun for a change to totally rip apart and rebuild my team as well!

But this wasn't a stat update, i understand that they should of released this earlier becuase anyone can update transfers in a matter of hours, but updates on kits and boots is great i think atleast konami do that unlike fifa and with fifa you would probably need to pay for it anyway.

I can have my own opinion, and I can present it as a counter argument..... that's what debating is all about isn't it?

To my recollection, Di Maria is rated about 78, and Khedira is about 79/80, would I be right? This means that most of their attributes are in the late 70s and early 80s. This is GOOD. 82 out of 99.... is GOOD.
You can't expect every Madrid and Barca player to be rated in the mid 80s... it's just not realistic, plus it would make those teams even more unfairly balanced than they already are.
Plus, all the players you have mentioned are young. Konami often rates younger players a bit lower than usual so they have a more realistic development curve in Master League.

In all honesty, I don't think I can take you too seriously. Since your username contains both Inter AND AC Milan, and you moan about Real Madrid players not being good enough. You're obviously the type of player who sits in his room, thinking he's awesome because he can beat people with the big teams. I ask you, do you actually support a proper team, or are you just a big glory supporter?
