hi, I want to patch my pes3 but for some annoying reason whenever i try to open the files thru isobuster it tells me i have a blank CD in the DVD drive and when i go to open the files thru 'my computer' then 'drive e' it tells me to insert a cd, can anyone tell me why this is happening and give me a solution pretty please.THX.

bish bosh, I got 5.1.4 and updated to 8.1 and then burned, it seemd to work fine, no errors anyway. I'm getting my ps2 chipped on saturday so have lent it to a mate to try today.

PS: out of interest, which option file do you use?

PPS: update - mate tells me he got to language screen after ages then nothing? anyone any ideas?

Then he didnt patch proper:) Make sure when you apply a patch directly after it scan with ECCregen. So when you applied 5.1.04, check for errors, then apply 8.1.04 check for errors. If you found errors repair them.
When you using CDmage for scanning make sure you REPAIR corruptes sectors, not rebuild.

it was me who did the patching, my mate tested it. Turns out I was using the 5.14 and 8.1 update on a non-confusion ripkit. So, used the any ripkit with 8.1 update and found no erros and burned at 4X Got machine chipped yesterday and voila, the game booted and looks quality..... Have now also found a confusion rip - is the confusion rip any different in terms of quality (patching quality, rather than kits, adboards)? anyone know?

Also, it seems the intro movie does not read and some menu's take a while to come out of. I don't know if it's the chip or my disc?

Am able to change my own image files like
change kit or balls after i extract the afs file to the mod center, i open
the file, and i am able to change by inserting new bitmaps, kits, balls .
but after that i dont know what to do, there is no options to save or update
as, so how do i make the changes, have all software downloaded, if i just
close its not saving my new kits no, coz if i reload or extract it all over
again from cdmage, it turns back to the oldkits, if i could replace the data
asf file in the cue. it would be fine but dont know how to do that or if i
can, please help very stuck.

jag, check the first post of the DVD-ripping guide. Last night I added a frutsel link for DVDscan2.

Bonessi, I believe that the Confusion rip is just a CDrip of a PES3-DVD with no patches applied.

Yeah, that's what I expected to be honest. Just wondering if there were any advantages with using a confusion rip over any other, hence why jb did multiple patches? Think it might be my chip to be honest.

Same as shirts, only the right files then instead of 150pl.

No I said importing balls, shoes etc is the same as importing kits. So you can use Larsson thread. But the only differences are that the balls etc. are not in the 150pl folder. Boots are for example in 020boot.afs folder. You can do transfers with Kmochidaseditor.

Can someone help me please. I am using this beginners guide and it says :

Then run dvdscan2 to remove the dvd check on the 'SLES_519.12' file.

When I do this it says illegal file. Does anybody know why this is happening?
tryed searching threads but can't see my problem.

It's not actually called kmochida's editor, it is called we editor and you can find it at lomungtung's ftp. Before you can use it you will have to have extracted some files in a folder together. Namely, slpm_623.56 and fileover.afs (if you re playing WE7) or sles_519.12, over.afs, data_e.afs (if you re playing PES3).

Use CDMage to extract those files in one directory and then choose this directory from within WE
EDitor.
