I'm hoping that our great community will not turn into a mob of crazed lunatics in the next few days as people get WE8.

So let's leave the WE8 Impressions thread for impressions for those who are playing the game. And please No questions in there. If you want to ask any questions about gameplay, stats, appearances, Cristiano Ronaldo's hairstyle and all of that funky stuff, use THIS thread and don't pollute the forum with new threads.

Ask your questions in here and anyone with the game will hopefully answer them in here too. I will definitely do my best to answer the questions in this thread. Just keep in mind that PES4 will be very similar to WE8 in many ways.
And when PES4 is released, we'll be able to find out the exact differences and not until then.

Good question chico. Name some players to check and which team they were & should be in and someone can check them out and give an indication of who has been transferred.

Yeah, someone else saw the Irish flag as blue instead of green. Probably just an issue with the camera or something. I don't think Cassano is playing for France

Hi guys, first post on this forum here. Great forum btw!
Off to my (burning) question:

Is the only option to play WE8, to buy a Japanese PS2 and import WE8? I'd love to import it, and play it. But isn't there some sort of 'freeloader' DVD that will enable Japanese games to be played on European PS2's?

I do not want to go into illegal talk, but am relatively new to this 'seeing people play WE7/8 stuff'. I want it too, very very much, but am wondering how - and if it is possible without buying another (but then Japanese) PS2. I just bought a new European PS2 caus my old one stopped working and can't really see myself buying a new Jap PS2 right now.
