Hmm need some help here.. after i patched and try the game but the names are all in japanese... am i doing anything wrnog here.. i dun have x port or max drive...

use the bin/cue format found in the WEmerica Locked folder in v6 patch.
burn bin/cue to a cdr with Alcohol 120% oe similar burnin tool,
@ slowest speed possible. required 1350kb free in MC.
insert burned cdr in modded (or Swap Trick) PS2, PS2MENU loads...

to learn how to upload from CD to MC search for CD2MEM &/or PS2MENU.

i would just like to know if this patch is the best patch available, and i dont have the shop vesion i have the version that came about about a week before the shop release will the patch still work, thanx

it did with me but i didnt patch the file sles.53544 and i used scorp option file and works perfect m waiting for wemerica OF

click volume tab & type the following in the required boxes;
Master Disc Information
a) 'Disc Name' SLES(in box 1) 53544(in box 2)

b) 'Producer Name:' PLAYSTATION

c) 'Licence Area' (select) Europe


Volume Identifier
d) 'Volume:' PES5

then click 'File' tab, in drop down menu select; 'Export iml file',
save as PES5...

to create ISO use DKZ Studio's ISO MAKER located in 'Tools' tab.

If you've done as above correctly and it don't work then something
is surely wrong, maybe corrupted patch download files ?

WEmerica should be releasing an option file for the PES5 v1 patch soon.
(as metioned in post 1)

WE9 patch v6 comes with it's all format OF V4.6
(default[no extension file], .xps, .max, .npo, .bin/.cue-> cd2mem)

Does anybody know when wemerica will release an option file for its wemerica v1.0 patch [PES5]?What other option file could i use with this patch until wemerica release its own?thanx guys

all I can say is be patient....

v2 update info released on Friday 18th Nov '05
and 21st WEmerica had it 95% complete.

the supplimentary faces to have fred & gimenez. OK
-Chants for Lyon and Monaco redone. OK
-Correction of the BG screens, missing on v1. OK
-Addition of some new BG's 'ole'. OK
-True team callnames (English). OK
-Adjust the new files of patch so it works on all existing pes5 versions.
-replacement of 2 lawns. OK

doesn't work in ML

got this and after a few failed attemps i got it working. but i just finished a Master league division and......... nothing. just sits there with one of the stupid backgrounds. goes no further. anyone else got that problem?

The patch is great just the music is awful! I mean 2pac in a soccer game?! And that song that keeps repeating in the Master League is just so annoying. I'm thinking of changing patches because the music is just so out of context for a soccer game.

There is no problem my friend just search around you'll
surely find a stand alone MUSIC patch of your liking,
then all you have to do is....

apply WEmerica's (WE9 V6 / PES5 V1 or NEW V2) patch to your WE9/PES5.

Once done apply the desired music patch over your WEmerica patched WE9/PES5 files.

Simple or what? No need to download anything else, just a music patch.

BTW,
a better solution would be to read a bit about
editing and add your own music to WE9/PES5
this way you will never say I don't like the music.

This happens because Liverpool's chant has been added to
PES5/WE9 (in game data) english generic chant slots.
So when any english team is playing you'll hear it.

Liverpool (aka Mersyside Red) does not have any official chant
slots in original PES5/WE9, it uses the english generic slots.

Arsenal does have official chants in original PES5/WE9 and patched version, but english generic chants are randomly added to them.

Is there any way to get english player names in WE9 without using any swap tricks? I don't have swap ability. I DO have HDLoader. Any way to patch the WEmerica files with a player patch or something? I really like this patch but the player names are still in Japanese and I have no way to use the included option file :(
