we all know PES 2008 can be a game that produces many crazy, high scoring matches (as scoring is quite easy, but defending is hard). I was just wondering what your most crazy(or embarrassing) scoreline in match was. Ive had quite a few, but the strangest one so far is - Valencia 6-3 Barcelona in ML.

I was Barcelona lol, I was 5-1 down at half time, easily my worst ever half. I got absolutley destroyed in the first 10-15 mins when they just seem to score from every attack they had. I think it was like 3-0 after 20 mins or something.

I've had a few

5-4 Portugal and Brazil, I was Portugal 3.1 up at half time, they brought it close at 4.3 then I scored another, and they brought one back with a Juninho free kick (I registered him back in)

7-2 against AC, I was Roma, the thing that bemuses me the most was a solid defence consisting of Nesta Maldini and Dida conceded so many goals.

For some reason Valencia are always a bogey team for me. Villa always seems to score hat tricks including free kicks, impossible lobs and 25 yeard screamers.

in the older pes i got thumped by a PSV side featuring johnny rep...hed run shot and score 7-1 was the scoreline at the end.

Im Espanyol doin a spanish league, best game was win against Barca 5-4. Barca are just unbeliebly hard to play against on top player.

Has anyone played a league with League C teams? I made up a championship league with all the correct players and stats and excitedly started the league only to find that no team scored more than one goal a game, most finishing 0-0. After 10 games I'd scored about 30 goals the next team had about 9! Strange though was that when they played me they could score 2 or 3. It took 4 weeks before a team scored 2 goals in a game. It's complete toss, also no one ever gets booked in league, 40 matches and something like 5 yellow cards and 1 red! Bollocks I say.

The scoreline is always big whenever I've played Marseille in the Master League. When I got promoted to D1, they gave me a pasting, 6-1. Their front three kept finding plenty of space to run into and Marseille were winning 4-0 with about 30mins to go. I switched to 3-4-3, to try to get more goals, but they got two more and I only got one.

When I met them again, that season, I beat them 7-1 at home. Ever since that win, I've beaten them every time by at least 4 goals.

11-4 against Atletico Madrid with my own custom ML team, 1st leg of the div 1 cup.

Of course, that was topped by the 2nd leg match, which I won 12-2, resulting in an aggregate win of 23-6 (I have pics!!). Both games were played in Top Player.

And no, I wasn't using a super team and had none of the attacking superstars (messi, ronaldinho, ronaldo, ibrahimovic, etc), just good players (I have pics too!)

Edit: Sorry, actually it was the other way around. 1st leg was 12-2, and 2nd leg was 11-4. So my guys couldn't top their 1st leg performance. Shame.

PES 2008 next-gen is a disgrace :(


PS: BTW, I've played PES 2008 on the PS2 the other day, and I found it quite likeable!

I once lost 13-2 to Club Brugge with Salou Ibrahim getting 7. :( At the end of the season I went to check whether I'd be able to sign him and he'd been released. :| I snapped him up and he ended the next season as my top scorer.:smug:

I never got scored 13 goals, but I do remember the rage at some 6-1 defeats at the hands of pathetic teams with 1 good player...

BTW, Halil was not the star of the matches, Jerome was! That guy and I just click, he was my top scorer everytime! 2 goals per match guarranteed!

But I'll never forget PES 5 and Carrusca. He wasn't in the original game, he came with an Argentinean league patch. The guy was slow and didn't dribble particularly fast, but something about his somewhat slow pace made him unbeatable in my hands... He reached 3,54 goals per match (average) in his best season, when he was already 34. That's well over 100 goals in the league! What a way to say goodbye.

The rarest scoreline I've had on Pro Evo 2008 is a 0-0 between Liverpool and Chelsea. However I won the first leg 5-0 and was playing my youth team.

0-0s are too rare on this version.

I was once bored and decided to play a 30 minute beginner match and the score ended up being something like 73 - 0 to me and I was using a fairly pap team, probably St Ettiene so I reckon if I were to use Inter or Barca I could push for 100 goals. Anyway the reason I tell you this is because I think my striker scored about 20 to 30 goals and assisted a futher 15 - 20 and I thought he would get a 10 in the match details section and oddly enough he got a 9 :mellow:

One of my other players got a 9.5 and he scored about 4 or 5 and had 1 assist.

This is one feature of PES that need addressing in 2009.
