What are you currently playing?

Finished Zelda Skyward Sword :( Just brilliant. It better not be five years until the next one!!

Well worth the £120 it eventually cost me to play (buying another wii for £70 after mine decided not to work when I got the game)

Was it not a bit short, or have you been playing non-stop? I remember the old Zelda games being pretty big...

Personally I'm still on Skyrim. Put in far too many hours on this already and have still only made a slight dent in the grand scheme of things.

I put 42 hours into it in the past 9 days. 30 of those were in the first weekend where i booked off the friday and monday and cleared my diary specifically so I could sit down for 4 days and wank over it. Then and odd hour or two wednesday thursday and friday and a final 6 hours yesterday.

Now my life feels empty again and I will have to start socialising.

Not that short then!

If you don't want to feel sociable, get back into Skyrim. Between that and work I have rarely seen daylight

I wish Skyward Sword and Skyrim had been released further apart, I was really motivated with Skyrim initially but then a week later came Zelda, and now i can't be arsed to go back.

Plus Saints Row 3 should be with me shortly, so god knows what i'll play.

I'm playing Prince of Persia (the cell shaded one) - it was on offer on the PSN store a few days ago for about a fiver. Not a price to be sniffed at.

Prince of Persia (2008) is one of teh first games I got for my PS3 and one that made the purcahse of the console worthwhile.

I loved it every step of the way from beginning to end, the visuals were brilliant, especially seeing the areas transition from infected back to their normal states.

The Prince and Elika are both great characters too.

It is a very pretty game indeed.

The Prince is a bit annoying though at times... maybe it's just because he's voiced by Nolan North - I don't think his voice is a good match for this game.

Yeah I felt that way at first, he seems to cocky, but I like the partnership that develops between him and Elika, especially if you talk to her quite often.

Have put FIFA 12 back in the 360 for a change. Too much Skyrim/Forza. Need a change of pace, so manager mode it is. Probably only until it pisses me off again though.

Nah. Not actually playing, just letting it do it's own thing or simming. It reduces the pain factor somewhat.

I got Lord of the Rings: War in the North the other day and I must say I'm really enjoying it. Sure it's largely reptitive hack and slash but I've never had a problem with this sort of thing; the combat itself is very good and the ability to cut off heads and limbs is appreciated. Although an expected feature I do like being able to customize your guy with a large variety of armour, weapons (the Dwarvish ones are great) and shields. And playing split-screen makes it all the more enjoyable.

It's probably a 7/10, but if you're a LOTR fag like myself you can add at least a one onto that. Props to the makers, they've really gone above and beyond the call of duty with the story and lore faggot-shit. Even the talky bits are often interesting with all the back-story and shit (if you're that way inclined). While the plot and Agandaur are obviously non-Tolkein, there's a lot of stuff from the books included (the Dunedain at Sarn Ford, Halbarad, Elrond's sons, various locations) alongside the world established by the film trilogy, so it really feels like an extension of that.

Hmm thought about pulling the trigger on that but I'm so far behind on getting the games I actually wanted. Besides the only good LOTR game I've ever played is the Mod that was made for Medieval 2 Total War.

Third Age? I still play the LOTR mod for Rome. I think I will download the mod for Medieval 2 but I'm not sure about having the Orc of the Misty Mountains and The Orcs of Mount Gundabad as separate factions, I prefer them as one faction as 'Orc Rabbles'. I also liked the three Elven Factions instead of the two in Third Age.

If I remember correctly (as I used to frequent the sub forum on that mod religiously) it had to do more or less with concerns for AI as having one Orc faction in the North could not pose that strong of a threat to combat Dwarves, Men of Dale, Arnor, and the Elves... That being said I think they did a fine job distinguishing the two orc factions. Even more importantly though is this....

I actually had no idea this was released today but they just dropped 3.0 lol

Well I know what I'll be playing for the next few days....

Still playing Eternal Sonata with the determination to complete it. I've restarted Darksiders again since I never got into it. I don't know why because I'm really enjoying the game at the moment.
