What dont you like about the new PES?

I don't like the new look very much, they tried to be cool and "modern", but i prefer a simpler style.

Another thing i don't like (i don't know if we can change this, so it may end up not being a bad thing, after all) is the fact that we can't use Other Teams A on Become a Legend - at least that i know of.

That and the removal of "Create your own team" on Master League... i know it can be altered in the edit menu, but still.

- the biggest annoyance is the fact that you can't twist and turn with the bal..the handling is fucked up you cant cut , twist and turn like you used to

- the second biggest annoyance is that you take 4-5 steps before a shot or cross and sometimes a pass...the reaction time is ridiculous

- the third biggest annoyance is the fact that the 70 minute subs is still in there...wtf seabass..wtf....

I also see a few things like turning with the ball is losing the ball to an opponent. But Yes the game is improved, they woke up and we are goin' forward thank you God.

The Master league is SUPERB:w00t, I like the realistic gameplay and yes sometimes it's a little fast and when you're 1-0 up the computer still waits on midfield till you come bring the ball.:shocking:

Playing for two days now and I think I love it. Still things they could/should improve, but overall I'm over the moon cause I thougt some hockeyplayers did the last versions.:ninja:

Just do what I did and re-create him (and in my case, also another 200 odd legend players) using his previous PES stats, or your own opinion.

Yh i have had at least 4 players needlessly sent off, they do seem very strict on tackles tbh, the majority of the time a yellow card would have been the more realistic option.

Apart from that i cant find any MAJOR faults, online could be better i.e lag etc but i have had a quite few non lag games so im no to concerned yet! Umm Champions league as i expected it would be is fantastic the same with master league.. In terms of gameplay the only really annoying thing (this has been the same in pretty much all the Pro evo's yes including the ps 2 versions!) turning on the ball is an issue, the players still feel robotic in that sense, would have been a nice touch if Konami would have fixed this but to be fair its not something that will ruin my expereience just a tad annoying at times. Player individuality makes up for the tunrining issue thou, its amazing how realistic some players movments are, for example some of the passes Xabi Alonso pulls off look so much like him in real life its incredible. This has always been something Fifa has never had..

Graphics are great no complaints there aswell. Night time graphics could be better thou...
Overall im very impressed this year. The main thing for me is that it HAD to be an improvment on the shambles of 09 and to an extent 08 and to be fair to Konami it is a vast improvement

- Refs poor gives away too many cards
- Player movement isn't free it seems to slow when you are on the ball and want to move around
- AI is poor
- Through balls should be better
- The game is not fluid!
- I've sold mine on eBay for a profit of 75p and bought Fifa 10 which us much better
- Animations are too dated, Fifa has good animations which makes it feel a bit better

refs terrible

ive been taken out on the ball for cast iron penalties and the ref doesnt give any call at all? being taken out before u get the ball, or after the ball has gone also brings no call from the referee.. wtf is that about?

passing response

pass/shoot response time...its too bad, i understand they cant always release the ball instantly but someones the players really do feel like they are taking the michael. this is exceptionally frustrating.

through balls

half the time they get punted off the pitch, the rest of the time they dont make it past the first man and if they do the lack of animation/slickness means that your player can be running parallel to the ball for some time before taking it into his stride..

SO not only is it tougher to make good chances, because of through balls and because of pass response time, it is also easier for your opponent to cheat and foul you out of getting a shooting chance...

oh yea and the keepers are erroneous... so you might only get 1 chance in a game but score it when it should easily have been saved creating some very odd final results.

Some things have really been irritating me, mostly small features that KONAMI have inexplicably removed.

-Unable to remove players from the wall. I dont need a man in the wall for a freekick by the halfway line.
-Unable to send midfielders up for set pieces.
-Poor close control. Dribbling has been made much more difficult, which i kind of like because people online cant resort to passing to easymode players are driving through your team. However it's much harder to manoeuver in any tight situations.
-Players running away from passes.
-No more hexagon on players stats, should have kept it with the average.

Anyone else find a few things annoying?

Ofcourse you can remove or add a man in the wall. On the ps3 you hold either L2 OR L1 and then move the dpad sideways on.

even Buffon is trying to slide under the bouncing ball!!!!!!!!!!! AI players are knockin' you out whenever they have a chance without any punishment (refs are like those in Korea back in 2002 - useless!!!), and a slightest tackle from you and you're penalised with free kick or yellow card!!

Casillias is amazing in this game. The amount of match saving saves he has pulled out is countless. The only problem is the whole T-Rex arm thing when a long shot comes straight at them. Looks pathetic. Also the start and stop movement is annoying. When an opponents winger has the ball and i try and drag me CB over i have to press sprint like 3 seperate times to get him to move his fat ass.

I hope that KONAMI will release some patch fixing this stuff soon, coz at the moment I cannot say "The King Is Back". Those errors are killing the joy of playing this game.Even the die hard pro evo fans will not forgive forever!

- Online is the only thing that keeps me playing this game till 2011 and it's not working well this year, with all the promises before release from Konami i dont know if i can trust this company again

Few gripes but nothing major...

-players freezing a bit after a shot thats saved, not that it makes any difference cause theres no wer to run

-AI going mad wit passes in th midfield, they strung 27 together earlier and the fans wer boeing alot...

-transfers not being finished, its just laziness

-The hexagons, i miss them...

-Player likness is off, not that i really care but come on stephen ireland has hair!!!

Unwanted advertising

I really dislike the 'pop-up' advertising on the pause screen and during action replays. Makes me feel a bit sick.
