What features would you like to see implemented in PES 2010 masterleague?

How bout a "Build your own stadium" feature? That would be nice. You can put your team name on the boards and stuff, etc..etc... I've always hoped for something like this in PES....

But maybe you have to spend points to do it?..

Great idea in that!

Also like your idea of having a "winning elevens football assocation" makes the whole league seem more professional, realistic and still maintain the uniqueness to the pes series.

The WEFA logo used to be displayed in PES5 Master League.

BAL improvment

i would like it if in 2010 BAL mode, they would make an option of requesting to be subtitued while playing. this could be helpful for saving stamina for important games or just quit at the top...

build your own stadium would definitely add a unique feel to the masterleague, imagine playing a local rival on your home turf where you actually created the stadium!

another improvment- training subs before they go in, to increase their fitness.

You mean telling them to warm up just before you bring them on? That's a super idea - you used to be able to do it on an old manager game (FourFourTwo Touchline Passion, great game).

Or at least, if you make changes while the ball is in play, the subs you are bringing on can warm up at the side, until the ball goes out of play.

IMO Master League is crap right now.

Presentation is crappy and gimicky IMO.
Its way too easy to the extent you can build a worldclass team in 2-3 seasons (using default players).
Not deep enough in terms of player transfers, details.
The new transfer system is STUPID. I mean i don't want some arrow pointing to if i get a player or not likes a gameshow. I'd rather they keep it nice and simple (maybe like FIFA or early PESs?).

Most of all, I want ACCURATE stats for players. Seeing Fernando Torres terribly underrated after a spectacular season is disheartening and takes away any kind of reality. Its even more dissapointing since Liverpool are one of the liscenced teams. Konami need much more better researchers.

i think that team morale should be put into it because it will make the game much realistic. Say if a player is not happy with the club then they can make the team performance drop. ( JUST LIKE CHELSEA AT THE MOMENT) I also think that £ instead of points should be introduced because this will make the game more realistic again and will make pro much better than fifa (well it is already lol)

But most importantly i think that Konami should get the licences of all the leagues because this is what has let PES down over the last couple of years. they should have England League, Championship, League 1, League 2 from the english league and have maybe the MLS, German League, Belgian League, K League. This will attract more people into playin PES and will definately make it the best football game in history !!!

i also fink the PES shop should be changed by taking those stupid penguin and dinosaur outfits off the game. come on now its a football game. i think they should maybe add stadiums, kits, more boots, more balls to the PES Shop. I think the kits option will be popular because most teams in football have got 3 kits and it will be betta if pes allowed you to have access to the 3 kits.

And as far as stadiums go BRING BACK STAMFORD BRIDGE!!!!!!!! like pro evo 5

I'd like to see Konami allow us to determine the size of the leagues. For example allow up to 22 teams in a A, B, C, or D. Or allow us to make a sub-division be a 22 team club league.

Good points about the arrows, it's a bit random. Although it has improved ML a bit; in that you negotiate first with the club, then with the player, as opposed to both at the same time.

I think the stats for players is more of a general PES issue rather than a ML one - particularly on ML, a player like Torres' stats are unbelievable after a few seasons.

I completely disagree about the easiness of building a team. Have you tried a normal difficulty game on PES2009 with default players? Everyone on here has been complaining how hard it is to sign anyone properly. I myself have only got about 5 players through normal transfers, the rest through frees and loans.

---

EDIT: I also have a new thing to suggest: home advantage. At the moment, theres no home advantage on the game - not sure how they would implement it - maybe by making refs more favourable, or just slightly increasing the form of players for home games, while maybe decreasing them quite a bit for away European matches (jetlag).

I ONLY play DEFAULT MASTER LEAGUE PLAYERS on TOP PLAYER and I find it easy so nothings going to solve my problem of finding it too easy.

Seriously just offer every January transfer window the ML Youths massive contracts (Gunther/Shaw/Kaiser) of around 1500 each season. As long as three of them join, its easy because they grow into worldlcass players so you don't have to make any more transfers. Then make sure to sign most decent free transfers in June and you're absolutley sorted. Whats so hard about that? Sorry but a little too easy for my liking. In game, the defenders are too easily beaten by a direction change. Even on top player, the AI on master league are no where near as lethal as they should be infront of goal.

I honestly don't care about negotiating with the club then the player. I'd rather offer both straight up, then the club tells me in the next week if they rejected my offer [and what offer they'd like] or if the player rejected my contract [with again the reasons]. The arrow is tedious and dumb.

But negotiating with the club then the player is what happens in real life (unless you're Chelsea), and it's a move towards realistic transfers by Konami, which can only be a good thing.

I also play on Top Player, with the default squad. However, I have neglected to buy the players you mentioned, because I know their potential from previous games. Why don't you try realistic transfers, it makes the game much harder, and you end up having to make realistic decisions.

Agree about the poor defending by the Com, but I often find them pretty effective in front of goal. Recently suffered two bad defeats to Arsenal (in one of them, I did have my goalie sent off).

Yes, it happens IRL but my idea makes it a lot less tedious. Having to negotiate then waiting for a stupid arrow to point to whatever direction it wants is stupid. Then having to negotiate... why not offer a price and contract.. then hear the results for it the next week?

I might do that next time and only sign real players or limit myself to only 3 konami players per game or something. Nice idea but i'd rather konami make the game more difficult for me rather than i have to do something to make it more difficult. do you get what i mean? i personally think the konami youths are a decent idea but they're way too good and way too fast. i'd also rather they randomise their names or something so that we don't know who is who each game... so atleast then signing a youth player is a bit more interesting.

maybe we can instead get the konami youths when they're 14? then atleast it'll stop the easy way of getting them whcih would be offering a mega contract... cos no one wants to offer a mega contract to a player who wont be able to play many games cos they're still too immature.

right now the konami youths are usually better than my whole squad lol.

anyway what do u think of those ideas? if i were konami, i'd actually do that. master league needs a total revamp including change of interface. why is it menus lag now but im sure they didnt in PES 1? lol. is it cos of the dumb crap pictures? cos i'd rather not have them neway. :/

I think the negotiations are realistic but 1 thing does anoy me. Atm you have to agree a fee with the club and then you can talk to the player which is realistic (KAKA to Man City) but what anoys me is even if you offer mind blowing sums of money to the club and 5000 points on wages they still say no just cos you havnt won enough trophies which is bollocks cos Man City havnt, yet kaka is still moving there because they offered loads of money so imo i should be aloud to sign any player in my first end of season window. Make it hard to sign em but dont completely make it impossible like it is atm.

thats not bollocks.

MOST players in MOST cases would not agree.

difficulty is GOOD. thats what ML lacks.

I think it'd be best for the ML youths to come out at 14 years old... it forces ppl to play the real players more. :S

i guess most ppl would disagree since they want the game to be easy :/

Ha ha ha. It's a good point though (not the shutting up bit, the fact you should be able to change club...)

I've been thinking, one think (which I suppose isn't actually ML specifically, but may as well post it here) should be changed is the in-game stamina thingy.

If you think about it in real life - when a player plays, he doesn't start off at his best, then slowly get worse. He starts off a bit out of it, then warms up into his peak, stays there for most of the game (usually, unless a player with low stamina) then start to drop off. So really, the stamina bar, I think, should just be replaced by a 'form' (or something) bar. It should start off at around 75%ish, then get to about 100% in 10mins, stay there for about an hour of gameplay (for the average player), then start to drop off for the last 20mins. It makes substitues much more effective, it also further improves alon's call for warming up substitutes, as it means that rather than being slightly tired, it makes them closer to their peak.

A point some of you may make, is how do you tell if a player is increasing or decreasing, when his bar isn't on 100%?

Well, I have two suggestions, both of which should be used:
1) where the stamina bar is now, under a player's name, next to the radar, the bar could be green for increasing, yellow for no change, and red for decreasing.
2) on the formation settings page, and the substitutions page, they could change the little stamina bar there for a little graph, by doubling it's height (on the formations page, they can definately get rid of the other fucking bar that has no real use), which would show how far into the player's peak he is.

The main ones that can be implemented easily:
1. REAL currency!!
2. Champions league
3. Offers to coach/manage different teams
4. More transfer options e.g. interactions, clauses, contract negotiation options(we play this mode for the management, so make it a bit more like champ manager games!)
5. Updated stadiums, facilities etc. as you get to be a bigger club
