What game shall I buy?

Hi, I was wondering what game to get that has recently come out. Any ideas? I tend to like shooting/Adventure games for PS2. Can anyone give me some notification to what games look or are good? Thanks for your time.

If you like the Grand Theft Auto series then i would buy The Godfather.
A bit of adventure with a shooting up then i would say Resident Evil 4.

The 'Conflict' series of games are always good, so are the 'Splinter Cell' titles.

All can be picked up on the cheap.

Pick up Resident Evil 4 for a good mix of both FPS and Action/Adventure genres.

Oh and another thing, I want value for money. So make sure it's a long game and will take about a week to complete if I'm the best at the game.
