can't agree more! The cpu has no suprises for me... And if there is a game where I don't score, it ends in a draw... And believe me i'm playing ML with a relatively sucky team...

This game is a cheat!! I wonder if we play same game like others here, there are so many annoyances in the game that makes me wanna smash the keyboard, you guys who go unbeaten I wonder how good you guys really are & maybe I stink but I FREAKING HATE THAT me as a player cant do the same things that the AI does... its freaking hard to dispossess the computer at highest level, they always seem to be 11 defending & then suddenly 11 attacking! WTF...

rossjacks go to the training menu and learn...L2+ R1/R2 regulates the attack/defense attitude of your players,if its red-all atack,if its blue-all defend.And there are no cheats in PES6.

Every PES game has been an improvement of the previous. And they were an improvement over the ISS games. It takes time getting used to the new ones. You may go through a faze of prefering the old familiar one but that soon fades once you get used to the changes.
PES6 is the best football game ever made.
The problem the programmers have with the AI, they cant make the computer as good as a human without resorting to letting the computer have faster responses to humans/slightly cheating etc. Until they learn how to program something with truely human like abilities, the AI will continue to frustrate or the game will be too easy.
The defending frustrates me the most, as you dont seem in complete control of the players, also the computer wins most the 50-50 challenges. Refs are now pretty realistic (better than real life), bad challenges get you a red or yellow dependant on the challenge and what ref you have. And not all those stupid niggly fouls.
Passing is improved. Teamwork is of huge importance to your teams ability to construct good moves. My advice is buy the book by piggyback. It helps explain everything and reveals a few tricks.

i was starting to doubt the brilliance of pes6....so i downloaded the demo of Fifa 07.
now i always find fifa to be totally crap, and never believe the 'it's much better this year' crap that EA serve up and game reviewers seem to gobble up...
so i waited while the 700meg demo downloaded...
i installed it....

I hate the Shooting!! 10m High, Lob or 10 Wide Each time its a gamble!
I hate the cheating of CPU!! YES ITS A CHEAT when as a players you cant do what the CPU can do! The more diff level = the more you are put in a inferior situations by the AI and the CPU cheats more and more they.
This came is frustrating and not so real if you ask me! In reality players only cheat by filmin or so etc etc... example a shit player doenst get as fast as afasa powel & catches up with you in 3 sec or Etoo beome so slow that a turtle cathes up with him. I have realized it that there will never be a great footballing game!

yes, i think that the top class players have a too bigger impact in the matches in pes6, with somebody like rooney you can run straight through everyone and blast it in the back of the net with ease.

hehe dont get me wrong i love pes 6 thus far but I can empathise with people who want to smash up the game sometimes hehe .......it can be frustrating and trying to get players give you advice on how to dribble and configure the game and strategy decent for online is like drawing teeth.

When the computer uses top players, although they are a handful, some clever defending can usually snuff them out. Deny them space, kick them, double up.
Its when I play lowly teams like Villa and Blackburn I struggle as they completely pack the defense out. And liverpool who are just awful.

Well,sorry guys,but I want 100% reality,why I can have it with FM and not with PES6 when its obvious the FM07 is the best football sim ever?!And it ruins nothing.
The AI is the crapiest one ive seen(well,its the same from PES3,but its anoying they dont fix it) and the passing is 100% accurate!!!I can win every match by the stupidiest method youve seen...but it works.Score a goal and then pass the ball between my CB's ,the pass always gets to its target,I can make a video,or just try it yourself.At the end-possession 99-1,top player is interesting...
There are and other things I dislike,things Konami fixed on the 360,but not on PC,like the size of pitch and players,its stupid to play with giants,it feels like mini-golf,getting from side to side for less than 10-15 seconds.
Also players change their facing position faster than lighting,even C.Ronaldo cant do it that faster,you do a tackle at a player with his face at you and he turns with his back at your direction before the tackle gets him (the speed of the game is not that fast,just the animations).

That thing with the CB is really so bad for u to say, u r ruined your game with tactics like this one as for the perfect FM use the editor and realism is gone, etitor=CB passes, got it; and to go on topic again perfect game cant exist as football its self have flaws, did u watch anterlecht - milan; they lost 10 certain goals, or Arsenal with a team i cant remember, or try to think in a real football game of 90 min how many wrong passes are made, how many bad shots etc. i like pes6 lot more then any other football game, for the gameplay the teamwork the heading game, ofcourse all things in life needs an improvement thats why they will make a pes7. thats all.

Erevos,I think you doidnt understand me.Now there are NONE wrong passes and almost every shot got in,its too darn easy,I want real football,with not so many oportunities(8-9 a match).I want games like Anderlecht-Milan in PES,but I am just bored with winning 5-0 with 35 shots a game...
The ting with the CB is not a bad tactic,its just the AI is stupid and just watches me passing the ball running around,in reality the opponent will aplly pressure on you and also you cant have 378(thats how much I did,30 minute game,just to see if the CPU will do something,but nah)correct passes,almost no team got more than 20 in a real game(refering to Brazil)
Also I wont touch the editor in FM,why should I do that,only lame kids cheat and for what???The editor is not in game part of FM so its not the same,but the passes are part of the gameplay.

Did you notice that when you play ML against a team wich NEEDS to win (or if it wins, it gets right on top of you), the match gets insanely and ridiculously un-even? CPU cheats every time, you name it, it can be a circus match it almost make you laugh:
- you cant tackle anyone
- your slow master league players are now slower and more sluggish
- if you have a good player he is with the blue arrow (completely down)
- CPU knows exactly where the ball is going to bounce
- when you shoot inside the area, its almost for sure you´re gonna hit just air (this bug is from PES on PS1 i think, why dont they fix this??) and your player bounces off as well, giving CPU enough space to recover the ball.
- I remember a match the CPU needed to win, and i was defending so well, and in the 89 minute, a comp winger centers the ball and my keeper himself put the ball inside the net, trying to "clear it"
-i hate when i see some CPU players run, feint and shoot like real masters, and when i go see their numbers they are crap, they dont have even a yellow number but they played me like freakin zidane..
- i have many more, but i have to stop the rant. I cant wait for a fanboy telling me i suck at PES6.

This is great nice to see people are divided on this, i myself have grown to love pes6 even with all the bad points in my original post. i even turned to fi...fif....i cant bring myself to even say it. lets just say i tried an alternative footy game which didnt work out!
i still loathe the gameplay on pes6 but have found myself being drawn back to it for hours at a time. so it must be doing something right in my book.
i still uphold all the things i stated in my original post but have chilled out about them somewhat. i have stopped punching my monitor (btw iiyama Vision Master 21" is very robust and does take a punch well)

this game really does annoy me, when i am playing any crap team, and i am shooting the keeper all of a sudden happens tro be as good as buffon and pluck the ball out of the air. The passing annoys me aswell the computer can make so many passes without being intercepted and when u try it now they take it off easily. But in some parts of teh game it is a really enjoyable game. The graphics are wkd, and some of the gameplay.
I prefer PES5 more rather than PES6.......
