FIFA being better then PES is like West Ham beating Chelsea to the title. It's not gonna happen this year. Yes, the Hammers (EA) have fluked up these world class players (a new playable engine) and will be all the better for it, but at the end of the day, Chelsea's (Konami) experience and class will come through.
They've been in the industry of football games for longer then Konami, yet EA still haven't managed to build a decent football engine. They've tried but their sheer lack of knowledge on how the game plays means that no matter how many gimmicks they've thrown at it, they still can't crack a decent engine. If they don't know how the game works, no matter how many times they rebuild their engine, they're never gonna make it good enough. Even if they get close, Konami will just push on and take it to another level.
This year could well be the closest yet, for sure, but Konami will edge it again and come back stronger next time. Remember, FIFA has already had 2 next-gen games out already. We all know that in 2 games time in the PES series, it'll be much much better then it is now.
