what is an 16 way movement ?

I read this in the PESGAMING main page "16 way movement" what is a 16 way movement?

and also how can i Manually shoot in PES2009?

The player can move in 16 directions. All of PES games so far only has 8 directions for the player to move.

Yeh so 8 directional movement is like;

Up (North)
Up-Right Diagonal (North-East)
Right (East)
Down-Right Diagonal (South-East)
Down (South)
Down-Left Diagonal (South-West)
Left (West)
Up-Left Diagonal (North-West)

That's the way the Pro Evo play is currently, so can you imagine what the FRAK 16 way movement would be like. IT WOULD BE A HUGE IMPROVEMENT! Yet they don't do it! I hope they put it in amongst the final 50% of the game! Konami need to step up!!

Yea, it really is the least they could do. I have a bad feeling that you may need an overhaul in the entire code to incorporate more directions. And if they improved on the 8-way movement, they should have already announced it.

Btw, FIFA has 360 degree dribbling this year. And apparently it feels really cool. Plz dont let this be the year that I have to turn to FIFA for footie satisfaction

For me it's simple I'll play the demos, and then see which I prefer. But I think purely becasue of the fact that Fifa has 360 movement I'll be going there this year!

They need to take it away from the D-Pad. this restricts you to 8 directions straight away *runs before someone screams at him!! We need to use Analog Control, you get tonnes more scope for directions to move in.

So if you are running from a 0 Degree position and want to move sides way you can only go either 45 degrees (diagonal) or straight into a 90 degree postition (Left/Right).

With 8 extra angles you can move from a 0 Degree position to a 22.5 degree position! This allows you to keep control of the ball better and move into positions to pass, shoot or change directions!

8 WAY MOVEMENT

0 Degree
45 Degree
90 Degree

16 WAY MOVEMENT

0 Degree
22.5 Degree
45 Degree
67.5 Degree
90 Degree

Oh and I'm not sure about manual passing!
