Ahem, I think this sounds like Alex Ferguson, and let's not forget that Inter beat Chelsea fair and square.
But whether Inter or any other Italian team is doing monkey business I have no clue about, nor does it interest me.
I just feel that some of the nerfs on Juventus players was just by Konami, but it may have been a little too much. Juve just lost heavily against Fulham though.

apart from the golies skills, he is only as good as the defense infront of him. Cesar has arguably the best defense in the world, or a top 2 or 3 in Inter, while Buffon has a ready to retire Cannavaro and a mediocre Juve defense. Switch them and you'll see how awesome Buffon would be and how mediocre Cesar would be. A perfect example is Buffon in 06 with a wall of a defense in the WC and what he has today.

Buffon is a truly awesome keeper, without doubt one of the best ever and he is arguably still #1 in the world.

PS. Milan deserves praise for doing so well with what I would consider an "Old Boys" team, what is actually the average age on their frequent starters now?

The old lady is shit nowadays. Lucky to even qualify for europe next year and the players are not up to it (Amauri is particularly shit).
