players that dont just stand around wen u pass them the ball...or if ur running at a defender they dont just jog along they make a run so that u have someone to pass thru to...or just more clever AI players

Firstly the game definately needs penalties changing, as cannon ball said, fifas are pretty goodsomething like that woiuld be good

i know what you mean with the fifa power bar,but on fifa they always hit it at a middle height and if the keeper goes the right way they always get it unless its perfect. i think there should be a penalty stat and they could do penalties like serving on tops spin2 if anyones played it. the better the stat the bigger the area of judgement.to alternate things a player could hold say rt and this would do a tap penalty or chip.fifa have the right idea just poor execution. plus pes needs alot more before a penalties rework!!!!!!

we all kno the graphics and gameplay will be better sp all we need is much better commentators and a more detailed master league. also making a legend difficulty would be appreiciated as playing the computer does get abit tedious

On a rather more eccentric note, my mate came up with the idea of players having certain personality traits, which would effect their attitude, commitment and general persona in games. He also reckons you should be able to 'attach' a club he has personal feelings for, like if he's playing a club/country he hates, he will up his game or celebrate more emotionally when he plays against them. I'd like to see more dynamic interaction between crowd and play, and crowd and individual players (be cool if they remember a bad tackle and boo the player responsible, or worship a star player). Also would be great to be able to create a manager, choose a suit/trackie and have him on the sidelines cheering on his team. Overall the game needs more 'soul' I reckon.

• Premiership balls (red and blue)

• even classic balls like old prem ball, bronze leather ball

Other improvements promised for PES 2008 includes improved greater close control, so there's more scope for skilled dribbling, tricks and neat inter-player passing moves. Setting up a free-kick isn't quick as restrictive either, whether you're defending or attacking. You can change the number of players in the wall if you're defending or, if you're on the attacking, plan runs more intricately and position specific target men for the kicker to aim for.

I hate it when you have a free kick 35 yards out-too far to shoot, but crosses are always ineffective because there's no good runs into the box attacking the ball.

my main wants for the game is...

-fix online play, stop people from cheating by freezing it. And theres a new cheat thing I think, randomly it'll just sign me out of PES and say my XBOX Live connection has been severed and awards them the win, yet if they get disconnected in this way(I assume its this way) it gives them a 3-0 win but on my screen it comes up as a 0-0 draw...I have no idea how this happens
-a full edit mode with extended kit/boot editing so that most strips(if unlicensed) can be fixed
-make players realistic (eg. sort out Adrianos stats!)
-stop the tap in goals online, it gets so annoying, you go out wide then cut the ball back and its a certain goal 99% of the time.

I'll come up with more I just can't be bothered thinking.

I reckon that they could bring in better or more famous stadiums and try to have better presented player attributes.
I noticed on an old website that people kept asking for higher attributes and kept adding more stars. I reckon that the stats should be easier to edit and not as carried away with the star system.

i think konami should look at this and take one long think cus this is a true cry from fans and what they would love in the game.

Now that it's next gen and all with bigger disc space etc.

More stadiums should be essential and more licensed teams.

Plus they HAVE to fix the online problems.
Eg. people freezing the game and waiting it out to see who quits first just so they get a win!

And there's a new online problem, sometimes it'll randomly cut me off and return me to the Main Title Screen in PES and say my connection to Xbox Live has been severed(when it hasn't really). So when it cuts me off, it'll give the opponent a 3-0 win, yet if the opponent gets cut off it tells me that it was a 0-0 draw(so it gives me a draw) but it gives him a victory!! So I dunno whether he's cheating or whether PES is just totally fucked.

online needs a total make over.i think they need to allow the host to add a few team restrictions,maybe make it so player matches can use a master league team and put the ability to create a online tournament in there!

stadiums has never really bothered me but i know it does alot of people so yeah increase them.id like more boots,a hell of alot more animations for slides,dives,fouls,cut scenes instead of just adding one new fall animation a time.and i think currentl theres two slide animations,the standard one and the one when you come in from the side and like 180degrees on the attacker.

mebbe individual defenders should have there own slides or something.
