In My Opinion
I just want to state even though I would like to see some changes, I like to say that PES is the best football sim out there and as an ex fifa player that jump over to the good side 4 years ago, I have never regreted my devotion, that being said PES can improve on some things, Some being gameplay and Some cosmetic:
GAMEPLAY:
(1)The only really thing I think that work needs to be done on is mainly on defense, when an opponent is running down mainly on your defensive 3rd when you try and switch players sometimes it switches to some defender that has nothing to do with the play,(usually a player who is lateral to opponent or behind him never the defender that is in front, the more logical one)
(2) The closing down of opponents, again its good when on the wings but when an opponent is dribbling in the middle of the field the defense seems to open up even if they are not marking anybody??? in football the center of the field is where defense starts and is concentrated on, always pushing the play out to the wings so that the defense can use the sideline as a silent defender to push them out off for a throw in. I know what your thinking when opponents make good passes they split defenders but not what I am saying, the instances is when typically playing online and an idiot is INTER/ADRIANO, and he just runs straight through the middle of the field, it looks like moses parted the red sea, players just open up.
(3) Player attributes, make more realistic and not such an advantage, EXAMPLE ADRANO, he is not that good in real life??????
***To sum up in attack the game plays great, shooting is very realistic , I LKE********
COSMETICS (GRAPHICS):
(1) FIELD GRASS, Needs major improvement, only grass I like in the game now is REAL MADRID's stadium on Summer and Rainy, looks like a good green, all fields should be similar not same but simlar get away from that clay looking grass.(Players should be able to choose grass color and cut as well before games)
(2) LIGHTING, In some stadiums, Lighting should be improved.
(3) MORE STADIUMS, or at least a stadium builder.
(4) MORE ANIMATION off of field, 3D Security walking around field, Coaches on Sideline making commands, 3D Players warming up when you signal a substition, CROWD needs to be 3D like NCAA 2008 or MADDEN 2007. PREGAME, Players warming up in warmup suits passing ball around etc. while stadium staff set up for game.
(5) SCORING CELEBRATION, more interaction with crowd and players on bench: Have players Run to bench and get avalanched by reserves/coaching staff in track suits or player scores and can jump over billboards and jump on fence etc.
(6) HAVE REAL TIME WEATHER CHANGES, just like in MADDEN 2007 and NCAA 2008 During a match, if game is in early evening make sure that the shade shifts with the suns movement or have the stadium go from day to night during game.
(7) FANS, CREATE at least 30 differnet type of fans in 3D, Men-Women-boys-girls-Old men-young women-People who wher suits-People who were Team jerseys-People who are painted up-When cold wearing cold weatehr close etc.
OFF THE FIELD EXTRAS (Menu screen):
(1) During Loading Menu before a game,Have a Map of the country or region your playing in and Whatever team is playing away show the players getting on a bus or plane and see them make the trip and arrive and walk into the stadium while fans and celebrate or curse their arrival.
(2) After game have press conferences where you choose from predetermined answers what you want to say, it could be a coach, player etc.
(3)MASTER LEAGUE Home menu, after each game have a News Comentator showing highlight of games and goals from your league, and news of injuries and possible signings and negotiations (during transfer season) etc. all stuff that is in our football newspapers and shows
(4) When player is signed, (becuase sometimes its difficult and you have a feeling of accomplishment and joy when you finally close a sigining that you really wanted) have the player in press conference siging contract and shaking hands with President and lifting up his new clubs Jersey while photograhers flash pictures and he smiles.
(5)TRAINING, I saw someone say it on this thread and I liked it, just want to elaborate it. Have 3 day traing periods before each game and player can choose to do 1 or all 3. Maybe have like in pros, 1st day Conditioning, 2nd day Shooting, 3rd day playing. CHANGE UP training have differenet drills, Have shooting drills where they have to pass or dribble through cones or poles or in playing having small sided 4v4 or 7v7 games in reduced size fields with practice goals (in 4v4 the small nets that have no goalies, the 7v7 midsized goals tha tare portable) and field marked by cones just like in real life. Also players being injured in practice as well and not just on your team but others as well.
(6)PREASON, Have at least 4 destinations to choose where to do preseason, have the training facilities be region specific , show fans watching training sessions and wanting autographs and pics, have pre-season matches in local small stadiums.
MASTER LEAGUE:
(1) MORE SPOTS, have more spots to fill the whole 1st division and have the whole 2nd division.
(2) CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, make sure games are always @ night jsut like in real life. Also that more variety in different countries in European cup.
(3) HAVE A NEWSPAPER THAT HIGHLIGHTS YOUR LEAGUES PROGRESS
I KNOW IT SEEMED ALOT BUT JUST LITTLE THINGS THAT ARE DUALBLE TO MAKE A GREAT GAME EVEN GREATER!!!!!!!!!! just my opinion
