What's the point of playing PES6 with other teams, beside Brazil, England, Barça, Inter, AC Milan, Chelsea? It's no use. Goallies, defenders and strikers from all the other teams are rubbish. I think Inter's Adriano sitting in the middle of the pitch could score more easily than every average striker in the front of the goal. It reminds me FIFA sometimes. Boring...

1. Because some of us like a challenge

2. Because there might be some good unknown players that we might want to sign for our ML Team

3. Because most of us like to play the game for fun, not just to win everything

i like playing with denmark too, not a big name team but tomasson is class up front.

It's not the game, you're just shit.

There are many small clubs who are good to play with, you just have to know how to play to their strengths. If you do, you'll most likely succeed with joy, if not, you'll fail. It is realistic. With Monaco it's better to play the long ball as Jan Koller is huge, with that he can easily flick it on to passing players. It's tactics like this that make the game better, good passing teams will keep it on the ground, you just have to find the best way to play with individual teams. Because what you're probably doing is playing the same style for every team and if that style doesn't work, you brand the team shit when in fact it is your unadaptability.

Maybe, just maybe... some people only like to play with their favourite team which isn't necessarily one of the big guns in the game...

I find the TOON rubbish on it there never seems to be a decent attacking option when going foward! meh . . . . . . just like real life then! hahaha

I usually spend a few hours tweaking players that are un-necessarily shit, like the spurs team, Johnson for Everton etc etc - also Vidic is well under-rated in the game

Em.. only a notable Hat Trick in the Champions league the third of which was an unsavable screamer. Apart from that i can't remember any recent screamers or goals. He can be a great player, just hasn't gotten form back since his injury. Him and Cisse were always the PES powerhouses lol

Because if I didn't play as wee crappy teams my mate would never be within 5 goals of me! ;)

I couldn't agree more, when I use Arsenal I move the ball quickly as they rely on pace, when I use Argentina I rely on good through balls, when I use Portugal I use the WF's to create opportunities. With Mexico it's all about possesion of the ball and passes into the box. You have to adapt.

Me and me brother played with random teams the other day. You get 3 attempts and then pick the best team. I got Real Madrid and he got Siena. I only won 1-0. Imagine if i got bet. I'd never hear the end of it. Another game with Celta Vigo and Real Zaragoza finished 2-2 with some of the best goals I've seen in the game so far. Thats the point playing with teams other than the top few.

With the lads, we usually have our own teams e.g. Inter, Barcelona, Chelsea, and it makes for fun high scoring games. But against the computer I usually do a random match or play with a team I don't know very well.

I have to say, you need to play with more teams dragon_blue31. me and my mate do random teams EVERY match we play in exibition mode, from the very worst teams to the very best, its just good fun.
Sometimes you find a player that is really good but in abad team, and sometimes its just fun to slog it out with not the best sides.
If you're the same teams all the time the fun goes out of it man, mix it up a bit, try doing some cups using not so good teams and try to win that cup with your life! its all good fun

I think you could do worse than sticking with the default formation , using Huntelaar or Babel as the main striker as they are both tall and strong and there are plenty of options for the WF's or the SS's !!
