It would have been just the CDs I've brought to Uni; so Kaiser Chiefs, Travis, Springsteen and James.
Of course, as soon as I can work out how to, I am adding all the PES2008 songs... or maybe not...

go to systemsetting on the ps3 you need to change cds to mp3 then import the cd this way it will appear in game

I've created a playlist named KONAMI_PES and can't get any of the songs to play on the game, do they have to be exact .mp3 files??

heeey royksopp, forgot about them, gonna throw poor leno in there and that one horse race song from gta4.
for the guy havin trouble with the playlist, make sure its named KONAMI_PES WITHOUT the extra space at the end, for some reason every time you press start an extra space is created, so edit the playlist name to make sure there isnt a space after the S. and also, all of your song file names cant have anything other than letters and numbers, so get rid of - , _ . * ~ ( ) & $ # ' : ; etc etc you get the picture.

ex:
Bonerface - 02. i like my balls licked alot

has to become:
Bonerface 02 i like my balls licked alot

SETTINGS > MUSIC SETTINGS > AUDIO CD IMPORT

Check that MP3 is selected, and not AAC, before importing a CD. All tracks put in the KONAMI_PES playlist need to be MP3 or else they will not appear in the PES library.

The above problem was the sole obstacle blocking my quest for importing music first time around.
