Whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa. More boots? The boots are fine, its the glitches I want fixed!

Namely the "has a frosty relationship with the club" issue.

I agree with you, strips anoots are easily imported into the game, glitches ruin your overall gaming experience. That's a must for Konami.

People,

DLCs address the content, whereas patches address bugs/glitches/issues and enhancements in the game.

If it is DLC, then it will probably just be update on player roster or team sheets. But what I like to see in the next DLC is this:
1) A running track around the football field if you are playing as Westham at home;
2) Snoods;
3) Torres will only play in a team that will win trophies otherwise he will have a purple arrow, or even have a minor injury like hamstring;
4) Gary Neville has retired but still appears next to the bench as a spectator;
5) Almunia has class C injury and always have the purple arrow;
6) Newcastle United have no strikers in their squad;
7) All Blackpool players have a tenacity and teamwork of 75 each or higher;
8) Adebayor is with Real Madrid, a tenacity of 50, a red arrow and a shooting accuracy of 65;
9) Joe Hart's goalkeeping is dropped to 51; and
10) Any transfer involving Charlie Adam will incur an additional 20% charge on transfer fee which goes to the Ian Holloway foundation.

As for patches, I like to see a Football Association patch where your club gets fined when you play coach mode and field too many non-regular players.

They really could have told us like a month ago to wait till March, instead of announcing it around the time we actually expected the damn patch!

Did they not get started with this on time? I honestly don't see how it can take that long, unless they are adding some major features? Lets face it, that won't happen, they'll probably even take the piss and add some new cartoon heads, balls and stadium accessories that look like they were designed 20 years ago.
