Where's Zlatan ?

Is there any particular reason why Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn't included in the Sweden squad on the xbox360 version (it may be the same on other platforms) ??

I believe that there's one or two others missing from their national squad but their names escape me.

Haven't actually noticed that. You can always add him by using player registration under options.

Yeah you can just edit him in, another one I noticed was Ruud Van Nistelrooy not being included in the Netherlands team.

Van Nistelrooy for Netherlands.
Bosingwa for Portugal.
Pogatetz for Austria.

I only found this out myself the other day.

Went to play Russia vs Sweden on-line against some one. Getting all excited with knowing I had Zlatan only to be brought back crashing after finding out he wasn't even there.

That's it, I could have sworn there was a reason he wasn't in the Netherlands team on the game. Anywho, he's back in so I've put the hero back in the squad.

The squads were done at a certain point an Van Nist had retired due to an argument with the Holland manager, and Zlatan was either out injured or not being selected for the Sweden team when pro evo did the squads!

Shows how much of a bad online player you are though if you only chose sweden because you had Zlatan in the team!

Zlatan is out of the Swedish team because he boycotted the team after him and Mellberg got sent home because they went to a night club the day before a game. He was out of the team for 6 months and thats when PES 2008 decided the lineup. Now, of course, he's back.

Yeah it's annoying- Joe Cole is missing from the England squad too. Instead they stuck in Stewart Downing, who, no offence to him, isen't as good as Joe.

I think the presence of Stewart Downing is irrelevant in your argument, he's regularly in the England squad so the fact he's there is nothing to gripe about, Cole's ommision is though.
