also has anyone else noticed the graphics (players faces etc) are far more realistic and life like on PC version

Not really that surprising that the PC graphics are better.
But Owen still looks bald :D

I prefer the PS2 version.

I play both pc and xbox. The xbox seems to play smoother than pc for me, but still not as smooth as my ps2 for sum reason. Maybe cos I'm using a pad converter, i don't know. I play the pc version cos it's more realistic, and the wolf patch on the pc is better than the dario x patch for xbox i think.
Does anyone else have the problem with the pc version sometimes being a bit jerky. This is when i'm offline of course. I know it's probably got something to do with my pc system but it has decent spec's:

AMD Athlon Xp 2600+
60gb hardrive (only got about 20gb free though)
512MB DDR
Nividia Geforce 4 440 64mb

Can anyone see from just my spec's if their is a weakness that could be improved to help my pc performance. Cos I'm not clued up on computer's.

Thanks Billy

I play the PS2 simply because I can bring it anywhere and play with my friends alot easier than the PC. Plus playing on a gaming console gives you the advantage of a Bigger TV/Screen.

Tethlon.
PS2 for me...

Rarely play PC games, exept football manager 2005  Xbox is fat, lol...just joking. My bro has one, but I dislike the way the joypads are set out, and I ain't spending money on a converter joypad thingy, I'm being loyal to my trusty PS2.

Out of that, my guess would be the graphics card but i'm not expert. The rest seems fine.

Xbox, my hands are rather big so it looks like the controller was made for me :)
Partially because of the online function, but mainly because of controller. I have a PS2 and a PC(shocking eh :) ) with good specs, but the controls didnt feel me(and vice versa)

The gamepaly and graphics in PC are far superior than PS2. But to properly run this game you most definitely need a 128 MB graphics card and 512 MB of RAM. The thing with Konami is that the game engine as great as it may be...has many flaws. Primarily the fact that you barely have any graphic options other than low, med, and high.
Which reminds me...i have this problem with players tape. It doesnt show unless the camera is extremely close, im watching a replay or from set pieces. It never shows while im playing...unless the player is close to the sideline, sometimes.

Just make his buzzcut darker.

It really does look like your video card. I upgraded my video card just for PES4. It's worth it.
