ps3 is in the repair shop so i loaded up my pes 2008 master league with inter on ps2 and i found players wwith amazing stats like this guy called ormoa (CF) with 95 dribble speed, 98 power, this SB called Van Damme with 96 top speed and this guy called Dagaka who is immense - 98 top speed, 90 dribble speed and 88 technique. There was also Shimizu who you should all obviously know

Minanda, always! Captain Marval for me, even when my team improved, i never sold him. Always kept him in.

Even back then it looked good.

I remember Rolando and his blue boots. Really hard to guess who this bald-headed Brazilian striker was.

remember putting Roberto Larcos (Roberto Carlos) behind the 2 strikers to make amazing long shots on goal with him and then enjoying yourself to the max when you scored a sizzler from 30 to 35 meters from goal

Of the default ML players this year my favourite has to be Ordaz. His stats aren't great but he just always seems to score goals.

Then if you include the youth players obviously Palmieri and Shimzu deserve a mention.

Ximelez is easily my favourite, even when I start a master league with a club's own players my first signing is always Ximelez as a 16yr old

Barota is basically the old version of Gutierrez.

Is he? I thought it was Ordaz who replaced Barota.

Still, my current favourites are Gutierrez, Ruskin, Minanda, Ettori and Jaric (but only when he's in the DM position).

It's also worth mentioning that if you have the PC version, Barota, Vornander, Kelsen, etc. are not only still on the system, but some of them are better than the replacements. Vornander is a good example. When I replaced Libermann's stats with Vornander's stats, Libermann's overall rating jumped up by a whole ten points.
