why dont they combine xbox 360 and ps3 online?!?!

Does anyone agree that it would be much beta if they combined the two big consoles online? you would be able to play ALL ure mates online cos most groups of mates have a mixture of xboxs nd ps3s.

also there could be tournaments and leagues between the 2 consoles and things like that.

it would just be good to have the choice of playing xbox ppl or ps3 ppl.

anyone think the same?

Of course it would be fantastic if I could play against mates on here who have 360 and not PS3. This is something I've wanted for a long long time, but there's very little chance of it happening. Sony and Microsoft would have to become bestest of friends which will never happen because they are major rivals and are competing all the time.

If they were were to strike a deal so PS3 owners are able to play against 360 owners, then surely they might aswell just make a console together, combining all their ideas to make the ultimate games console?

Different companies... different servers.

Yeah, in a big happy planet, why not we also eliminate passports, and everyone can go freely to any country they like, LOL.

Lets unite the world and the consoles.
