will KONAMI be working on the animation side of things for the next installment of PES or are we gonna be left with another year with R O B O T I C running, turning and player movement animations....

In doing so i reckon EA and all of there deluded fifa fan-boys will be stunned silent and even they would agree that the KING is back

links, quotes, opinions on this will be appreciated

i think that's what they gonna really focus on alongside physic and collisions..they already have the gamepaly, already have the graphic and i will be shocked if the animations, physic still the same in pes 2011..

Didn't they talk about a new engine ?

Oh and there are new animations this year so I don't know why they wouldn't keep on improving them.

The animations are shocking, while its not a massive concern it would make it feel alot better if they moved away from the same shite theyv had since like pes1.

If they did talk about a new engine then they failed! If you look, when you are a player and pass the ball, keep your eye on the player that just passed and you'll see that he passes the ball and then moves a little bit and then jumps (when I say jumps I mean something weird like he switches off or something looks like a bit of a glitch).

It's poor, there is no fluidity!

PES2010 Does have animations, it's just that they are old.

For PES2011, Konami should focus alot on animations. I expect BIG things for PES2011.

When I talked about the new engine I meant for next year.. I don't know where I've heard from that PES 2011 will use a brand new engine.

I guess I'm more focused on annoying things about the gameplay because I don't find the animations that horrible. I mean sure some need to be changed but some are really impressive too.

I'd rather have them focus on gameplay next year. We need to be given more possibilities than what we've had for years now.

You exspect big things haha iv exspect big changes past 3 years, tbh i exspect pes2011 2 be just another tweaked version add few things there, remove a things thing they dont need 2.

The irony about this is that PES/ISS was reknowned back in the day for the best anims, this is what dragged us into thinking it was believable, I'm suprised they havent really worked on this most crucial element.

imo they dont need a new game engine as long as they fix the running, moving, dribbling and passing animations with a tweaked collision system.... if they do so sucessfully i am one happy chappy.

it makes it even more necessarry to go ahead with these changes for the next installment since the only thing Fifa has over pes is animations

too true... the majority of gripes that the reviews have is just with animations... if they tidied them up and improved on the current engine.. i would be happy
