people have said and linked to articles saying they (the creators) have made it possible to play ps2 owners from your pc online and vice versa

also, people have said things about the pc version being the same as the ps2 version, maybe this is why ??

The PC version has always been the same as the PS2 version.

They probably could make PC version compatible with PS2 version online, but I doubt they would, especially now they've gone all Microsoft-friendly. Does anybody have any links to Konami statements about this? I've not seen any myself.

It is confirmed with screenshots in other forums that now PS2 and PC PES players can play against each other...
