How many of you will still buy the game even if we can't use option files in next gen consoles to update rosters, kits, etc ?

Just Curious.

Maybe, but it would really be a step back if they don't use them. I personally don't have the time or patience to spend hours editing anymore.

Option files should be possible on PS4 as you can transfer save files to/from it, what isn't possible at the moment is importing images to make kits/emblems.

However this doesn't mean there can't be OF's that correct league/team/player names & create real teams over the fake ones or add player appearances etc ;)

What would be nice is that Konami adds a community download section like found in the Madden NFL series which allows you to download custom difficulty settings and rosters and whatnot.

Wouldn't mind being able to add the MLS league.

I'm buying it no matter what. The gameplay is great. Plus if we can't have images, we'd only be able to sort team/league/player names, which I won't mind doing.

Imaging Premier League without kits and right emblem! Goshh!
HELLO NAHHH, HOMIES I WONT BUY IT!
Every year, Konami have problems! No this then that...no that then this! Shttt

Well, this year it is a problem by Sony and Microsoft, not Konami! ;)

Not the end of the world for me, I'll just use the licensed leagues like I did back in the PS2 days on PES5 and PES6.

Edit mode sounds very disappointing this year oh well I wonder if there are any new licensed stadiums or is it the same ones as last year?

If it is a dealbreaker, not being able to import images - would you guys not contemplate buying the game on either the PS3 or Xbox 360?

Surely the difference in graphics isn't so vast to the point where PES 2015 on a PS3 or 360 would look terrible against the new-gen consoles, I can't see that being the case. If you're buying it on the new-gen to play with friends online, frustration is understandable I guess, but the gameplay feels so responsive and excellent this year, that it'd be a shame to rule it out because Sony and Microsoft haven't provided the image import function in the new consoles.

I remember playing PES 6 to death on the Xbox 360 when it first came out. That didn't even have an edit mode really, it was as basic as basic gets, yet I probably spent more time on that game than I have on all of the PES's since then - combined. Such was the quality of gameplay and online play, and that's kind of all that was needed in the end I guess - that something to keep me coming back; gameplay.

If I am going to buy it, it's most likely to be on PS4. Unfortunately I don't have the time these days to spend hours upon hours editing teams. Just wish Konami wasn't so lazy with their kit design for the unlicensed teams!

Apparently the unlicensed kits in the game cant look very close to the real kits otherwise it still causes legal issues but im confident that on the xbox one you can edit the teams and that using a 3.0 usb external HD.

Makes sense I suppose. So they can't even give Newcastle black and white stripes of any kind? :erm:

I don't think they can if they could they would the only 2 teams licensed in the English prem and championship are man utd and wolves the rest are unlicensed so the only hope is for a mod file on both the xbox one and ps4 in order to get the teams licensed properly.

I don't quite understand this as the champs league is licensed in PES so if liverpool, arsenal chelsea and man city are licensed in that particular mode how come they can't be licensed on the other modes in PES 2015?
